The girl in Print was very nice and said they were out of business card stock (I was ordering business cards). I said I would take plain paper since it was a rush. She said be there before 8, (closing time). I called back asking if I could pay over the phone Incase I wasn't the one picking them up. (I am hosting a large event and a lot of moving parts). She then said no, unfortunately they do not take CC over the phone and repeated they closed at 8, and I needed to pay prior to get my order tonight. I leave dinner with my Corporate Bosses in town to make sure I do not keep the employees late... I get to OD at 7:15 and am told "oh sorry, we close at 8 and cannot do your prints. We still have to clean up." But I'm FORTY FIVE minutes early. Her response is "well we have to still clean up." Ok, but maybe one of my multiple phone calls, you could have said you shut your machines down early. You have inconvenient me now, while I was changing my night to convenience you and your employee by being 45 minutes early! I am very disappointed in the customer service and unfortunately will not let my company utilize this Office Depot in the future. I have never had this type of customer service before from Office Depot. To top it off... she called at nearly 8 pm asking if I would be placing an order online to pick up tomorrow. No! For regular paper, I will print them on my own for free, thank you! Just close at 715 if you are not willing to accommodate a few sheets of paper 45 minutes before you close!

Attic Treasures has so many items, it's unbelievable how the owner can fit everything in her store! What's interesting, I saw so many Raggedy Ann dolls and vintage, women hats that aren't as prolific at other antique shops AND she even has several Siesta Ware cookie jars that I've never seen at other shops. I've visited antique shops in Rosenburg, Alvin, and in Houston many times and I've never seen these jars there. The prices are a little more than other shops, but understandable since some of her items I have not seen anywhere else. Irma, the owner, is super friendly and so sweet! I probably spent more time chatting with her than browsing. She is so amazing, she gave me career advice! LOL Her fur baby, Precious is super cute and followed me around the store until I cuddled her. Can't wait to come back and spend half a day browsing and hoping to snag a great deal!

I also left a couple of rings I needed resized and my grandmothers saltwater pearls they needed too be restrung.I have had them re-strung a few times before over the years but now I would have to wait until August to get them back from the jeweler. He outsources his pearl stringing and when I picked them up the first time it took them two months to get them back to me. I wore them one time and the string started to fray and of course I took them back in and ask them to correct the problem. I only wear my pearls every now and again so for the string to fray and slack between pearls on the first day I wore them shows me that the workmanship was seriously flawed. I took the strand back and it has taken me till August to get them. The stupid part is they made ME pay them again for the warranty work. They chose to outsource the work. I had no idea they did not do their own pearl repairs. Making me pay for it again was a total shakedown. They had my heirloom jewelry and instead of Doing the right thing and guaranteeing their work, they forced to pay in order to get my jewelry back. Do not shop here. It will cost you. Do not use them for repairs. They don't stand by their work.
