Is every Hobby Lobby in the nation filled with the longest lines on Earth and every elployee mad at the the world? I mean what in the actual hell. I like going here for their affordable home stuff and jewelry needs but when I do I almost immediately want to stab myself in the face with fake flowers (thanks John). It always seems like every register is open and full every time I go in. I don't know if it's the time of day I'm shopping but it seems to be a universal trend. It's packed and chaotic and no one is in a hurry to help. This particular location is enormous and well organized, but one look at the line I would have to stand in to get what I came in for made me rethink it. read more

This is a great place for home nick nacs and hobbies. I come here for the huge selection of picture frames, lamps, mirrors, plants and tons of home decor items. Basically, this is a Walmart sized store but they only carry home, hobby and craft items. If you can't find it here then it isn't made or you don't need it. Lol. The service here is pretty good and I've only had one issue returning an item that was eventually resolved to my satisfaction. Enjoy! read more

I brought an original painting into Hobby Lobby in Lafayette for custom Framing and they butchered it! They cut off the lower half of the painting including the artists signature! The worst part was having to explain to my granddaughter what they did to her painting! I brought the painting in to be custom framed with the understanding that they would fit the frame to the painting and not the other way around, I am broken hearted. Worse than Wal-Mart and Walmart was my Rick bottom before today. Debris, boxes, ladders and stock block store aisles. Registers 9 carts deep. Trashy people on cell phones rambling aimlessly through aisles blocking other shoppers. Crying undisciplined children everywhere, why aren't they in school?!?!? Came in a bought a piece of wall art for 50% off. Brought it home and found it had several imperfections. Called hobby lobby and talked to Amy. Super sweet, Super professional, and over all kind and helpful. She gave me so much information about how they just got some more shipments and to wait until everything is restocked and she'll take care of me whenever I get there. Returned some frames today and it took an extremely long time in a crowded store. The cashier waited and waited for someone in framing to pickup the phone to get pricing. What happened to electronic scanning?? Since the frame was purchased over 90 days ago, they wouldn't accept the receipt and only gave us half price refund. 2 managers standing around discussing lunch, long checkout lines and no one moving very fast. I would have given them zero stars if I could have. ZERO customer service. read more

The bathroom looked like a friggin' crime scene! TWO separate employees gave me Wrong directions to that disgusting, horror film of a bathroom, and I just don't see myself ever going back to that location again. Absolutely disgraceful. Not to mention the way the elderly white women in the fabric department (the sparse and barren fabric department) spoke to me when I asked their opinion for which fabric I should buy. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I am always treated badly in this store. I am forced to shop here for certain things and will find a way to order my craft supplies online to avoid the incompetent staff. There is always an issue and NEVER an apology. I had to ask 3 staff members where an item was and eventually found it myself. One of the items I just purchased was priced incorrectly and the manager walked up to the register and actually tried to start an argument with me while I was more than happy to pay the higher price. One of their team members was a little too trigger happy with the pricing gun and marked the item $4 cheaper than it actually was. I gladly accepted the real price but was argued with regardless and not offered an apology for the stores mistake. I've got 5 other stories that are even worse than this. No good read more
