You can actually see some finished work just to the right when you come in that locals have brought him to do some framing. I noticed there are some art work for sale of local tourist points like the bridges down town Chattanooga and etc. Also, he showed me work from local artists on display. You can take your pictures or oil paintings here and they will put them in a frame for you. There is also a pottery store next door but they were closed at the time I was visiting this art gallery. Art Creations is a well supplied store of artist supplies for drawing, painting, etching, and other visual artist mediums. Each section of the walls is lined with colorful, reliable, and unique options. Each store section is clearly labeled. Besides different types of paints, inks, and brushes, they have different types and sizes of canvas as well as handmade papers. They also have really cool pens, journals, and blank card sets. The staff are friendly and willing to answer any questions. I was curious what artist created the blank card sets I was looking at. This store supports any creative mind's interests.

Naturally, the owner has his own art on display throughout the store which really complicated matters since he did not want his art photographed and I wanted to capture the inside of the building.. I tend to ask permission before I start clicking because artists are afraid of having their art copied. Anyway the problem was that I could not get a complete picture of the inside of this gallery which was in a very cool historic structure. No problem. If you are looking for art classes, the owner provides one-on-one instruction to assist you in tapping into your inner talent. After you have completed your art you can then have it custom framed right at the shop. I have to say that the selection of frames seemed a bit limited and that he primarily carries simple wooden frames in varies stains and hues. If you want it simple and understated, you can find something here but if you want something unique, you may have to look elsewhere. Finally, this is a great place to snag souvenir tees (in color or black and white), at a great price.
