I bought several Christmas gifts here last year and returned today to buy several hand painted Mexican planters. I love the variety of planter patterns and sizes the store offers. They also have tons of dishes. The store owner, Delia, is delightful and worked hard to answer all my questions and help me find the perfect pieces. She even let me go into her storage area to look at items that weren't on display. I love this store and will most definitely be back!

Extremely disappointing experience at The Pottery in Midland. I painted a cup there and when I…read morepicked it up, the top rim was chipped and cracked all around. When I brought it back, they told me they would try to reglaze it. Later they called and said they couldn't fix it because there were "too many layers of paint," even though there were absolutely no instructions anywhere stating that customers couldn't paint more than three layers. Instead of taking responsibility or offering a reasonable solution, they refused a refund and the most I could be offred was only a 5% discount which I agreed I. The moment only to realize I wouldn't want to even return to that place to repaint . When my husband called to discuss it further, Tonya was rude and dismissive on the phone. The whole interaction felt very unprofessional. If there are strict painting rules that can ruin a piece, those instructions should be clearly explained to customers beforehand. Blaming customers afterward and refusing to make it right is not good business practice. Unfortunately this experience left us feeling uncomfortable even returning to the store. I would not recommend this place if you expect respectful customer service or accountability when something goes wrong.

I drove here to see if I could buy a few bottles and to my surprise, I found it no where. I looked for someone to help and a lady at fabrics offered. She was super helpful at assisting me find what I was looking for. Unfortunately we didn't find anything related to what I needed in her department so she advised me to ask the front for help. I thanked her and went to the front to find someone that could possibly pull it up in their system. I asked a cashier if they could help and she referred me to another woman walking the front with an iPad. I told her what I was looking for and she didn't have a clue. I mentioned to her that I had the skew number provided from the website and she replied, "that would tell me anything, I can't find it that way". Not totally her fault but if their website states they have plenty in stock it should have an isle number and section to where you can find it. Totally not the case here. Super frustrated with the whole situation so I left. Unfortunately they will not get me business today and it wasn't totally the employees fault but they do need to either find or figure out where their products are.
