I used to love coming here as a little girl with my mom because she knew I would never touch anything breakable. Lol. They still have a lovely store all decorated for Christmas as of November 16, 2024. We were immediately greeted by Celina. What an interesting spelling of her name, right? She assisted me with questions about a twin-size bed for my daughter. She gave me her card and took my information as well. Since we are in the month of November, I'm grateful for Miller-Waldrop for a few reasons: 1) My brother bought me a bed from here when I first moved back to New Mexico. It is still so comfortable. I know it was high end, but it was so worth it. 2) The salespeople are not pushy, but they will check in on you from time to time. 3) They offer unique pieces like this coffee table that I love, love, love... it's like a tree stump... not symmetrical. I shamefully admit I have been here since they renovated last year (2024). It's bigger, better, and addictively charming. My daughters chose a freshie (car air freshener) for their dad. He's going to love it. Their selections of freshies is vast. Almost overwhelming, but you're welcome to open the zip-locked bags and smell the various scents. We picked up some Valentine goodies also. The young lady working solo at the register on 1.20.2025 was very professional and welcoming. Sheri's House of Hope is a non-profit organization in Lea County, New Mexico, that supports "women…read moreand children survivors of domestic abuse." Their Thrifty Boutique is located on Turner Street five blocks from the police station. When another donation drop-off center had a sign on their door that they were no longer accepting donations for 2022, I decided to see if Sheri's was available. Prior to this day, I had never been there. The ladies who were working here on 12/9/2022 when I dropped off donations were welcoming and friendly. Most of the items are women's and children's clothes and shoes, but I saw jewelry, girls' hair bows, and a plethora of other items. From now on, I most likely will be bringing my items worth donating to Sheri's - especially after reading about Sheri and her mother's efforts to change law enforcement mindset about victims of domestic violence. Under no circumstances should anyone - female or male - be a victim of domestic abuse! Please help make others aware of this tragic nonsense by donating & encouraging others to donate to Sheri's.

I thought the first room was it then I continued to two more large rooms. She went out if her way to show me the most adorable bath and body care items she ordered for the Christmas holiday. As of 9/19/2023 she was building a new shelving unit and unboxing items like bath bombs and lotions - perfect affordable stocking stuffers. I picked up a few items for my daughters' nana's birthday. She is going to love the earrings, lip gloss in the shape of a wine bottle, & the adorable little knick knack we got her. All for just a little over $32. Plus she gift wrapped it for me! I didn't realize this before I went in school shopping with my two young daughters. They thought it was a cute store, though. They sell blouses, dresses, skirts, dress pants, and just about everything else garment-wise in between... Also in stock is jewelry, purses, shoes, hats, and other accessories. They offer more affordable fashion jewelry, but I also saw a young man purchasing some of their more higher end fine jewelry which was tastefully displayed in a well-lit area. There is abundant, free parking in the North Vista Plaza near Music World and Miller Waldrop Furniture. Their Facebook page seems dead. Our technicians and electricians tend to wear long-sleeve shirts year-round, but we have also bought short-sleeve collared shirts and jackets because New Mexico has some wacky weather... even during the dog days of summer. The employee that greeted me at the front was cordial and prompt with our snap-back hat order of over $1,000. They all looked amazing. This time my bosses decided to order two variations of camo and some black hats with our Zia logo. I just saw some pullover vests on their Facebook page that look sharp - I might have to inquire about them. I was right. There are many really great Christian gifts and very few secular items. I bought a leather-bound writing journal and a bookmark for one of my daughters. My total was $16.53. Sizes range from newborns up to youth size 8, however, they sometimes go s bit higher and will be going up to size 10-12 for the next drop. Speaking of, they will have new looks coming out in a couple weeks from 1/6/2023. Today they had 50% off on Christmas apparel & December selections. There is a section for newborns & infants to the far back left. For dance moms & dads, they have a considerably large selection of dance shoes & leotards available. I'm a fan!
