At the time I was told absolutely, she was also trying to sell me a new machine though. Today I carried in the old Singer and felt like I was attacked, because "this is a janome store". Said if it needs parts you have to come up with them. Isn't that what a repair guy does? Had they told me the previous time, no our service guy doesn't work on Singers or if you need something replaced you have to order it ahead of time, I wouldn't have driven over there(There were singers waiting to be picked up the day I dropped off my other machine). But luckily I found someone certified to work on all machines and very knowledgeable. What a shame. It's a nice store with a good selection of fabrics. Unfortunately, I guess I walked in at the wrong time on a bad day.

Found The Sewing Studio and ordered a yard of the fabric. I called the store on Monday morning to see if I could pay to have the fabric sent overnight so that I could get the quilt top completed. It was donated to our QOV group with the request we help get the three completed and sent back to be quilted. She will then send it on to a quilt store in Maui to be distributed to those in need. They sent it to me overnight and didn't charge me extra. I live in California and won't have the pleasure of visiting their shop but will definitely purchase more fabric on line, without the extra shipping requests. Many, many thanks to the wonderful women who helped me divert a disaster.

My father had passed right before my daughter was born so I included some items he had given my daughter. Jill stated it should be ready by no later than end of September. October came and she said she would have it ready by end of October. This went on a couple times. Finally by mid November she called me in and she had hardly anything done, but assured me she wanted to get it done soon. She also stated she had a lot of Christmas orders to do. My quilt was never a priority to her. The outcome of this was that she and her employees were very rude, she told me to come pick up my stuff, kept the 50 dollar deposit and told me she had too many things going on. I am so disgusted how I was treated and how much time I spent so excited to see something that was never completed.
