Went in 12-31-16 at 14:39 pm to get some craft supplies at the Conway AR store #1295. Scanned an…read moreitem (Artist's Loft Pencil set) since NOTHING on the display was priced Said REG Price 24.99 SALE PRICE in red 5.99. Got two of them and headed to checkout, of course they rang up at the register for 24.99. Cashier called MGR to check price, said it would show the sale after she hit total but he would double check. After a few minutes the MGR called back the cashier and she tried to tell us that the scanners will show you sometimes what the last person scanned in the sale area and some other BS. (I used to and my husband still does work for the largest retail co in America, we are not blind to being lied to) Said to remove the items, we did not want them but got other colored pencils instead. As my husband walked by the scanner, he double checked how it scanned... oddly enough the 13.58 different set that were on sale for 50% off showed REG Price 13.58 and SALE Price as 6.79 (Funny, it showed just what the item was and not the person befores scan) ANYWAY we checked out, I was upset so went and double checked our suspicions. The MGR changed the price and took the sales price off the item while "price checking" it. Needless to say he did see us walk back in and take one to the back scanner since the whole time we were checking out, went to car and back in he was talking with a worker and going through all the prices. NOT COOL to change the price when the customer catches a misprint/mistake on your part and the blatantly lie to them and say it was their fault for reading the scanner wrong. I do a lot of crafts but I think I will keep my business at Hobby Lobby if think is how you treat your customers.

It was the best representation of Native craft I had seen since Eureka Springs. I got a shirt which was designed by a local artist who wasn't there this day. The words on the shirt were bold and proud of the Chickamauga Cherokee tribe. It said "We are not yet conquered" Those words were spoken by Chief Dragging Canoe. Must see indeed!

Seriously disappointed after several years using MDG. I…read morebought one of their Earth Tone Jewel 108" backing for a very special quilt for a client of mine. it bled so badly it turned the cream background in the patchwork a medium blue. I emailed asking if they had any recs to remove the bleed and heard nothing. after a week I called and was told my issue was sent to the owner. I spoke with him on Dec 9. within a few days I sent pictures of the disaster along with a video showing the color bleed issue in cold water. He wanted me to send the quilt to him so they could consult with the fabric manufacturer. I refused as it was a special holiday/graduation gift my client had commissioned. I washed the quilt a total of 10 times with various color catchers and even Synthropol to get the color out of the cream fabric. Although it faded, it was still a light blue, not cream. A MONTH later I emailed again and still have no response. Not only did I refund the money my client paid, but I repurchased similar fabrics and batting and am remaking the quit for free (to the client). I still have remnants of the fabric as well as the stained cream fabric from my video to send to MDG. I am cancelling my account tomorrow regardless of the assurances that I "am the only customer who matters to me right now." a quote from the owner on December 9.
