After I settled out on the weekly check side, I still was, and I still am having to deal with the insurance company on my own. Paul decided to lie and say he was retiring, but really he changed location so he could close out his old clients and not be responsible for what he promised to do which was represent me for the duration of my workmen's comp. case. Paul lied about retirement, then opened a firm down the road, and left me fighting the insurance company alone and now they know I don't have an attorney so they deny me the accident related coverage I need. Paul and what he did is completely unprofessional and unethical by not fulfilling his obligation.

Instead of penalizing my tax service, the IRS penalized me, even though I filed and paid my taxes every year. Originally, I considered hiring a Tax Resolution Service to represent me. But, after reading reviews for those companies, it appeared to me that many of their clients were simply trying to reduce their tax debt. In my case, I had done everything right, and I did not want to be labeled or looked at as someone who was just wanting to have their taxes reduced. I wanted the fines eliminated!!! At first, I tried to explain my situation on my own to the IRS. They denied my request the first time to eliminate my fines, as they said that even though I used a tax service to prepare my taxes, the results were still my responsibility. They met everyone they were trying to both place and any company they were trying to fill a position for before they even decided to work with anyone. They reviewed your resume and portfolio giving solid advice on how to improve your overall presentation so that you would be able to connect with the right position. So in 2021 when I was back in the market for a job they were the first staffing firm I reached out to help me connect with the right opportunity. On the many times, I have tried to connect with someone I have basically ended up on a mailing list that sends me possible jobs that may or may not be the right fit for me. If I think I am a good candidate I am to email back with my current resume and a link to my portfolio and hope that someone sees it and gets back to me. I have been working with a number of recruiters and staffing firms and I do understand that the creative fields are highly oversaturated. Which makes staffing those positions even more difficult, especially with the level of remote work out there. It's been almost a year since I started trying to work with any recruiter at the firm and have talked on the phone with someone at this office once after quite a few emails trying to get a local human being that could help me. The phone call was cordial but the person I spoke with had to go after only speaking with me for a few minutes and promised a follow-up I never received. I have responded to many of the positions I was very much qualified for but never heard back. I found myself calling them the Cyborg Staffing firm to my husband because it feels like they forgot that the H in HR stands for human. Because it has been so challenging to get in touch with a human there.
