I explained I'm on vacation here and just need to be seen. Offered to become a patient. Absolutely no interest in working with me and actually hung up. Guess I can't go there? Good luck getting an appointment with these fools. The doctor should call him or herself and here how awful their staff is on the phone.

I was beginning to compile a formal complaint to the NYS Department of Health, but I did not keep detailed enough records of everything that has happened. First off, I was prescribed a medication that was no longer manufactured. And, that prescription was sent to the wrong pharmacy after I verbally confirmed the correct pharmacy multiple times via phone. I ended up having to call the office 3-5x per week, as well as going through the online portal message system, to get a new prescription (this is now three months of frustration after being prescribed). The new prescription? A) sent to the wrong pharmacy B) ALSO NO LONGER MANUFACTURED. It was the same exact (discontinued) drug with a different name. More phone calls, multiple times per week. Secondly, I needed titers showing immunity to attend school. I handed the nurses a specific list of what I needed in January. I attend school in July. In May, after months of getting immunizations redone (as I was not immune) and re-titered, I was ready to fill out and submit the paperwork for school. I faxed the paperwork over and had to resend it TWICE because the nurse had not filled out the paperwork in it's entirety. Each time I specifically listed the information that was left out and it was ignored. While going through the paperwork, I noted that one titer was left out each time. The nurse informed me that I had not had it done. The titer was for Hep B (which takes months to go through the vaccination process if not immune). I asked to get the titer done in January. The nurses ran a different test in error instead (to check for an active infection, not immunity). In my portal, the test appeared in abbreviated form as negative, so I assumed it was correct. Now, in MAY before I attended school in JULY, I had to be re-titered, re-immunized, and re-titered again under a time crunch. I nearly did not make the deadline to attend school. Each time I contacted this office (again, I averaged calling 3-5x per week to follow up on issues that were not addressed) I was met with more frustration and confusion. The main LPN for my physician was very ill-tempered and rude, when all of these issues were a result of errors made by their staff. It left me to wonder- how many people with more important prescriptions are being subject to error, ignored, and forced to call multiple times a week to follow up on issues? How many people do not have the time to follow up multiple times on each issue? How many people are suffering because of it?
