This branch covers two floors and has a wide range of books. It also sells board games, greeting…read morecards, little note books etc. Overall, this shop is lovely and looks really cared for. I love to come in here and spend a while browsing through the books deciding what I want to read next. Perfect!

As a newly self taught electric bassist, The Musician Shop gave me a glimer of hope for my somewhat…read moremediochre abilities. The staff are polite and very helpful. They have all the usual books and self teach DVDs etc with the added benefit of all the staff actually being able to play the instruments. A great selection of instruments can be seen and even tried in their soundproof booth (big enough to house a full drum kit with electric bass and guitars). Having more than the odd snag they were quite happy to sit down with me and show me some tips to keep me going. The Mrs ended up buying herself an electric 6 string! They also have a list of local tutors and sometimes have workshops in the shop (after closing). Occasionally they invite local bands to play during the day as a promotion for the shop and band. I have to say it's that good that I find it impossible to visit Bluewater without a trip to the Musician Shop.

First time here in maybe a decade or so, I was surprised to find it had held up remarkably well..it hasn't dated that badly and doesn't feel like the poor neighbour to the recent Westfield Centres in West & East London. Writing this review on Nov 1st, I'd suggest (if you can) to avoid it from now until around mid January as it will heave, throng, and burst at the seams due to Christmas / January Sales... All in all you're holding up well Bluewater...

It stocks a very wide range of baby products, clothes, nappies, milk, toys, maternity wear and furniture. Their choice of pushchairs are excellent. The floor staff are very helpful and friendly when you ask for advice. However, I find the queues slow and you can end up waiting for a while to be served (even if you are next in the queue!). I found the wait difficult when I was heavily pregant and I am suprised in a store like this that they do not have more tills. They have baby feeding and changing facilities but I have not used these so cannot comment on them.

I tried to do this today and I was told the new owners would need all of my personal details should they need to make a claim. I asked what would be needed and it's my email address, phone number and home address. Basically everything that's needed to commit fraud against me! Pathetic policy! Obviously I'm not going to give a stranger all of my details! Another nail in the coffin for J.L. I can't believe as a retailer that you're still open! You certainly won't get my custom any more!

Dreadful customer service at John Lewis Bluewater. I attended to return a faulty product (still…read morewell within waranty) and their manager Karen Wise refused to even look at the product or receipt of purchase. She told me I would have to come back another time as their tech team was unavailable when all I needed to do was plug it in and it would be evident it wasn't working. She told me she couldn't advise when the Tech team would be available and lied saying she knows nothing about tech when it later transpired that she was the former manager of the tech department. She was deliberately trying her hardest to be obstructive and cause unnecessary distress. Absolutely awful experience and I will never be returning, which is a shame as they were good once upon a time. Perhaps they need to have a change up of their clique of management.
