They do NOT give me the little woman treatment and are some great blue collar wisconsin guys who recognize I am on a budget. They have loaner vehicles that are complimentary, and you can have them call you before they do anything. The best part of this is that when they call they will patiently explain the whole problem to me. They spit out jargon, but then explain what that really means. more than once I have told them I don't understand a certain part they just described and they are more than happy to explain a new way. The best part about sending your car to them is that they make a list of all the problems, then give you advice and timetables. For example, I needed new struts and other work. They let me know what was then critical, what needed to happen within the next few weeks ( they specifically pointed out it could wait until the next paycheck for me... helpful!),and that I needed to save my pennies because in 6-8 months the struts HAD to be replaced. Since struts are over a grand, it's really great getting the heads up so early! I cannot speak highly enough of these guys. I always deal with Mattie and Dale, and both are so sweet. Expect Wisconsin nice from them. Everytime they call they first ask how you're doing. Mattie always asks about my life, and I always update him. These guys rock!

I used their shop because I needed a tire change on short notice- not exactly an emergency. They took care of me in their shop which is a little ragged but about average for roadside truck service. They got me back on the road after a thorough check of my tire issues. That's what I needed. Its a big rig truck shop not a boutique-not pretty but reliable. They are somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. I would use them again.

I had asked my own mechanic in the Milwaukee area what he would charge and he said in the neighborhood of $150. I asked Cory at TC Autoworks what he would charge and he said $45. Of course, I told him to go ahead with it. The job did not take long as I knew it wouldn't. Even so if you don't have the right tools you would not want to attempt this repair. When it was done I had to get going because other people were waiting so I asked Cory to write up the bill. He looked at me and said, "You know what, that job didn't take very long so there will be no charge today." I was shocked. When did you ever hear those words from a auto mechanic? I thanked him and I want to thank him again for that here. It's the least I can do to write TC Autoworks a great review. Unheard-of from most Freightliner shops. My previous experiences with DEF problems usually end up being in shop for 3 days to 1 week. By the way, the US government really messed up with DEF requirements because of the cost of repairs companies are incurring. They have friendly staff and very comfortable drivers room. They also have laundry machines and showers. PLEASE, some of you drivers use the showers because some of you smell really bad.

He actually loaned me a car so that I can proceed on my trip without any other inconvenience.
