I have been in Hi Tek Medical Imaging many times for x-Rays and Ultrasounds and i could always get the explained copy of the test result report within 1-2 days after the tests were completed, but when i recently refered to HiTek Medical Imaging and asked for the explained copy of my recent ultrasound report, i was asked to go to Pocket Health and get my own coppy, and i went on line and after spending good amount of time to fill the required information and fore and back to my email, finally i got some images without any expanation! and i was asked to pay the $49 to have access to my explained report. I AM SURPRISED AND UNHAPPY, AND I FIND IT UNFAIR TO PAY YEARLY $49 JUST TO HAVE ACCESS TO MY 0WN EXPLAINED ULTRASOUND REPORTS???!!! read more

Came in for a ultrasound and the tech and her student kept talking in a language I didn't understand and laughing , I asked what was going on to be ignored and they just kept on whispering and giggling in whatever language that was. I felt disrespected and uncomfortable the whole time. After seeing their reviews I don't even know how they are still running business. read more

I've been to this location multiple times for x-rays and ultrasounds after multiple injuries and the service is great. The wait time is almost non-existent and the employees are fantastic. Last time I needed to book an appointment since I needed the ultrasound in addition to the x-ray and I begged the lady for an earlier appointment. She told me if I could get there in 10 minutes I could be seen. I hopped in my car and rushed over and was seen extremely quickly. The clinic always gets the results to my doctor extremely quickly and I will continue to go here. read more

I needed both U/S and x-ray services and my requisition sent me here. I made the appointment over the phone and was booked fairly soon. I had some challenges getting to the appointment because of my condition at the time, and ended up running late because of my ride. I called en route and the staff said they'd try to hold for me, and thankfully the technician waited on me. It was the end of the day so I was spared the wait that most people endure at peak times, so I had no unpleasant experience on that score. The technician was very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable, he was willing to comment on things although they are not actually allowed to say anything in terms of diagnosis, of course. He didn't rush, even though he had already waited on me for my appointment. I felt very relaxed and reassured through both the U/S and the x-ray. Best of all, you can get your results without any additional cost! This is a huge benefit compared to most other labs that want fees for every possible thing besides your appointment. If you don't have your OHIP card with you when you pick up your pictures, you'd have to pay $5. Wow. Less than a Tarbucks drink for medical file photos without your health card? I'd just pay that gladly if I had to. The entrance is tucked into the corner of the plaza, which other reviewers have remarked is a bit tired, but there is free parking and the services and equipment seemed adequate. The staff really are nicer to deal with than a lot of cold and snooty medical staff types, so that was all great. There's a very down-to-earth and good bedside manner vibe I experienced on my visit in spite of the tired surface look, so, if you don't feel comfortable unless you feel like you're in a glossy, white, pharmaceutical capsule, you might find fault with that; but, in terms of feeling like you're being treated by real human beings, there was something indescribably different somehow about feeling like a person is looking after another person, instead of being processed through a medical procedure. I don't want to have to come back but, if I did, I'd pray for a decent wait time, the same level of staff, and feel reassured it would be a good experience. read more

I felt very upset about this place. What I can say，service is good but too much long time to wait. More worse, I got some small wood pieces in my leg, and walk in doctor did not take out all of that, then she send to this place for X-ray, then the doctor did Ultrasound and not x-ray. They were not professional and told me there was no wood pieces in my leg. I told them that I could feel the wood piece and they finally told me that they had a experience like mine and never took it out. When I got a call back from the clinic, the report said that there was no more wood piece in my leg. But when talking to the doctor at the clinic he told me I still had wood pieces in the leg. The worst place ever.I needed a memogram and an Xray, I was running late because of traffic and weather, I reached there before their closing time like an hour before closing and very rudely they turned me down saying that the technician is about to leave . They didn't even say sorry, we can reschedule or anything. I do not recommend this place AT ALLL. read more

Went here as it was one of the few places my family doctor had recommended for ultrasounds which had FREE PARKING. The plaza is quite dated and the technology of Hiteck might be slightly behind, but what I liked about this place were the friendly staff, plus another big bonus was my ultrasound images were FREE! I know a lot of friends who had the option to pay $20 per visit for their ultrasound images on cd somewhere else. Hiteck does not offer this service but prints them on the spot for you. We had Marie for the anatomy scan some weeks back and she was amazing. On one of the earlier visits, I had a Russian lady who was also very attentive. They were so excited to see the baby even though you'd think they would be desensitized from their work. read more

Free parking in the plaza, long wait time despite having an appointment. The space is very small, and the change booths are not standard size. They're very small and inconvenient to change. The staff is nice and friendly and apologize for the wait time. Am I coming back here? No, because my time is valuable! read more
