    HiTech Service helped me with my store PCs when they were infected with virus or something. Everything was cleaned up.

    Bad customer service! The hard drive on my laptop died so I took it to CNA Computer. I had driven…read moreby their storefront dozens of times over the past 4 years and I noticed there were a lot of 'local awards' for service. With that much recognition for service, I thought they would be a good resource to get my computer up and running again. A costly mistake! Angelo's unfriendly attitude when I dropped off my machine was a red flag that I ignored. After all, the entire country is still in the grips of the pandemic and retail business owners must be safety conscious. As long as someone can do their job well, it normally doesn't matter whether 'service with a smile' is offered. Turnaround time to replace my hard drive & reload my data was fast and I picked up my computer the next day. However, I feel I was waaay overcharged for the hard drive (tech hours were priced separately). It took 4 phone calls over a 4-week time period to reach the owner to ask about missing keyboard functionality and to ask for assistance to reload a driver for my external CD/DVD drive. After paying almost $700 for the new hard drive and the tech hours, I discovered it's a 'one & done' process. If I wanted help to load a missing driver for my external CD/DVD equipment, it's an additional charge. If I wanted help to have the same functionality on my keyboard that I had prior to the new hard drive installation, it would be an additional charge. Of course, he's entitled to run his business the way he sees fit. My choice for future computer needs will be to go somewhere else where the service isn't overpriced and surly.
