12/2018: Now why did I visit London UK? Welp~my second-born daughter married a Brit…read more
First wedding was held in September 2018: My second-born daughter and S-I-L married at Kunde Winery's Boot Hill located 9825 Sonoma Highway, Kenwood, CA 95452 which was uber Shee-SHEE-FOOO-Fooo.
Secondly, in order officiating legalities such as "PASSPORTS" and "immigration riggerramaroll documention," an UK wedding was mandatory. Hooo-kaaay. Alrighty then . . . Let's zooooom over to UK!
I must state the Zippity-Doo-Dahlink Jet Travel N' Accommodation Arrangements; however, let's get this London UK URL posted:

Spoke to my Placerville Travel Agent who arranged inexpensive British Airway tickets for $450.00 R/T--nice. Afterwards, I mentioned to Cathy Conner-(530) 622-1774 I didn't want staying at a Shee-SHEE-FOOO-Fooo hotel because I planned skulking London UK for more than twelve hours each day.
SO--WHY PAY for accommodations storing my Pacsafe Backpack???? Anyway, I rather remain low key as a Globetrotter because that's how I roll. Yah~I know I love globetrotting but, I'm NOT insane, i.e., I do not possess Melissa Gates' deep pockets splurging for a Shee-SHEE-FOOO-Fooo digs nor flying FIRST CLASS. Typical MOI . . . I wanted staying in a residential neighborhood: Walworth/Elephant & Castle District where typical UK Citizens reside.
As a result choosing Elephant & Castle District as my home base, I chose staying at Safestay because it has laundry facilities, large bedrooms, and possesses 24/7 security detail. Moreover, the bus stop is right in front of Safestay, down the street is Elephant & Castle District's TUBE Station, the bank is two streets from Safestay, organic Mediterranean restaurants line both sides of Elephant & Castle District, grocery stores, shops, and best of all, NO TOURIST TRAPS or TOURIST HYPE--schweet.
Anyway, I bumbled throughout London UK riding the double decker buses. I guess as my first time visiting London, I discovered riding the buses as my Personal Tour Guide was the best. Aside, I did buy an OYSTER CARD upon arrival at Heathrow Airport for riding the TUBE; however, too many times, the TUBE was inoperative causing MOI physically leaving the TUBE STATION, literally hoofing between one to three miles in order, riding the TUBE TRAIN!
Therefore, I began riding the double decker buses MORE OFTEN than riding the TUBE TRAINS! Finally, please do enjoy my POV shots I took while residing in London UK.
Cheers!
