    PART 2 of my Original review…read more 7. THE COMPANY LIES AND TRIES TO BLAME OTHERS. We reminded her of what she said and then she remembered, "Oh Yeah..." and than said, well, we aren't closing tonight. NO CALL- NO SYMPATHY, and my wife is 7 months pregnant sitting in a car outside waiting to get into her new home. They claimed they "e-mailed" the file over, but the lender specifically receives fax to email transmissions, and furthermore, I was in touch with the lender while standing in front of the representative at the title company. She said she emailed it, the lender was refreshing the Inbox and said nothing has been sent through. As I was talking to the lender, I saw the lady quickly faxing papers, while standing in front of the fax machine, as if trying to block it. She then told me after I hung up that she confirmed it was sent. "CONFIRMED IT WAS SENT AFTER I SAW HER FAXING THEM OVER". She also told me that the lender closes at 5 and there was nothing we could do. I reminded her that the lender stated they would be there until 7:00 pm our time, as they were in a different time zone. Cornered and trapped, she began to rant about time and processes, and how they are there late because of this. I reminded her that it was her JOB to do this, and this is what we paid her to have finished that day, and they didn't finish it. She stood up and asked me to leave at that point because she was caught lying and had no other excuses. 8. The Real Estate Agent and the Lender were all as upset at them as we were, for the Lender had a team of 3 people waiting for paperwork from the title company and stayed late waiting for our files, that were only rec'd AFTER 7:00 pm, where the bank in the other time zone, (EST), was NOW closed. 9. We needed up having to stay in a hotel, extend our U-Haul reservation, take an extra day off from work, and not get everything in our closing paperwork that we should have. 10. I had to call back for warranty paperwork that was left out of our closing file. The company does the job, slow and half ass, but they have: NO CUSTOMER SERVICE NO COMPASSION FOR OTHER PEOPLE'S SCHEDULES NO CARE FOR PUTTING PEOPLE OUT IN THE COLD, (LITERALLY), AND TRY AND BLAME OTHERS FOR THEIR TARDINESS IN THEIR END OF THE PROCESS. - Paperwork is not ordered on time - Calls are not picked up - Calls are not returned - Reminder emails to complete processes must be sent by the agents and buyers who are paying them to do the work -Above all COMPANY LIES and blames others to cover up their lack of professionalism We caught them in a lie, and only after we named out steps and hours of operation, and time frames did they step back and change their story. ****PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, DO NOT USE FIRST AMERICAN TITLE FOR YOUR TITLE NEEDS!!!!**** Stewart Title closed my previous 2 houses and all went well on time and in order. This company made our home buying experience absolutely horrible. and it was ENTIRELY FIRST AMERICAN TITLE'S FAULT. Hope this made sense. Just trying to share our bad experience with this location to help others make an educated decision on who they want handling their financials and new home purchase, or sale.     FRAUD. We looked at…read morea home on a Saturday, reached out to John and had no reply. We loved the home in Pearland and decided to try and move forward regardless of our realtor having no reply from John for two days. Monday, we filled out the applicated, and my realtor AGAIN reached out to john stating how interested we were in the home. John replied "ok"... on Monday. Tuesday, we finally get a email response stating we were missing information for our application. We sent in all missing details and asked to proceed with paying our application fee via zelle. I sent funds and within 6 minutes we were told that the house we were applying for was sold. To be transparent, they did tell us on Monday, that another application was being reviewed. My discrepancy is when we sent the application, he asked us to pay the application fee via Zelle, we did and not 5 minutes after funds were sent we got an email stating the house was sold. Having sent a zelle payment he then tried to state that he needed my information for the refund, he already had my information from my application, emails and txt. Be warned. It took 2 follow emails to get my refund and no sympathy.
