Old-school Italian market carrying imported Italian comestibles, excellent bakery, deli - and a trailer load of fine imported candies, chocolate, cookies and savories. They have good fruit and vegetables too. We stop here for two things in particular - their Ontario-renowned-famous focaccia and their in-house made sausages (fresh). It takes a lot of self-control not to go loco here and bust the budget. Staff working here are (VERY) polite, friendly and helpful!

We both tried the Breakfast Sandwich -- it's a croissant panini-grilled with 2 poached eggs, cheese, hash brown and choice of bacon or sausage. It was satisfying without being too greasy or oily. I had a regular drip coffee with cream. It was ok! They do have a small coffee menu. Not alternative dairy. Lastly, we tried the Borsch soup! When we learned the owners were Polish, we knew that we had to try the Polish items on the menu. The Borscht was light and fragrant. Loved it so much, we bought a container from their to-go fridge! The shortribs were the most tender, juicy things we have ever eaten! Gotta try their tempura shrimp, the fig and brie grilled cheese, and they have sliders that aren't dry and boring (they're AMAZING!)
