As far as people calling him a "quack" on here... farthest from it. He is incredibly knowledgeable in his field. He will suggest trying homeopathic remedies, but I welcomed that after my experience. I have never ever been one for acupuncture, pressure points, tapping etc. But after going to MULTIPLE specialists, having test after test after test and drug after drug to try and diagnose my issue, Dr. Truong suggested I try acupuncture with him. What did I have to lose, I don't buy into it, but literally nothing was giving me relief from other specialists or medication. 2 days post-first session, I felt the first (albeit marginal) genuine relief from terrible discomfort in over a year. Great doctor. The one downside: reviews are correct, they never answer the phone. Like ever. Or texts. Thankfully I live down the block, and I'll overlook that to continue seeing him.

How you don't know HIPPA laws as an healthcare provide. After requesting a copy of my records, I was informed that it is their "protocol" to withhold results until I speak directly with the provider. When I referenced my right to access my records under HIPAA, I was told I was incorrect. While I understand providers may prefer to review results with patients, this should not be a requirement to release records. Patients have the right to access their own health information, and being given conflicting information made the process unnecessarily difficult. Communication was limited to phone calls and a general contact form, with no clear way to reach a medical records or compliance representative. This made it challenging to resolve the issue efficiently. I hope the office reviews its policies and staff training to ensure patients are given accurate information about their rights and a more straightforward process for accessing their records.

I will say that there were times I did not agree or shall I say I was disappointed with the doctor treating me, but that was me just being human. Sometimes we just think doctors can fix everything and have all of the answers and we fail to remember that doctors are just scientists and sometimes just need to deal with the facts of the matter. Now I am sure that not every medical place is perfect but for me I have never had an issue here. As with every doctors office or medical facility you are going to wait.
