I've been donating to this organization for years and have read many testimonials by those have who have been able to get the help they need and keep their babies because of them. From my understanding some of the people who seek help have addiction and have trouble following simple rules or have never had to help others or even had to help with simple chores. No one is a prisoner and can leave at any time. I'm afraid we live in an "entitled" time where many people think they can take without giving in return. Nothing is free and what these women seem to learn is responsibility, work ethics, since of purpose and a life they can be proud of when they're on their own! read more

"If you could keep your baby and not go through with the abortion, would you do it?" is the question the young mothers are asked. No pressure, no coercion. Many previously thought they had no choice, and had not been told about what actually happens in an abortion procedure. His Nesting Place is an excellent life-affirming option without regrets. read more

They're such a blessing and doing a wonderful work for pregnant moms and kids. Our favorite place to donate, not just for infants but I understand there is a great need for clothes (casual and working clothes) for the moms. I'm sure their needs change, so if your looking for good cause to donate to, you may want to call. read more

Comparable to The People's Temple cult. "Pastor" Al and his wife Judy are scam artists who do a good deed for the wrong reasons and call it God's work. During my stay at His Nesting Place I witnessed severe child abuse and neglect that was never addressed or reprimanded even though the issue was brought up to staff 3 different times by 3 different people that witnessed the abuse and I myself was even told at one point to "mind my own business". When I first arrived at His Nesting Place I was ran through the rules I must abide by (which I later found out were subject to change without notice.) I came in September of 2018 10 weeks pregnant and having complications that I made staff aware of I was not to lift or move anything heavy or stand for long periods of time after about a week I was put on the chore schedule and made to complete chores that involved moving and lifting heavy furnitur and when I physically couldn't I was threatened with "write ups" or dismissal from the program. Residents at His Nesting Place are only allowed one day out of the week to go anywhere visit family or hang out with friends and only for 4 hours otherwise we were to remain in the facility participating in bible studies and filling out bible related questionnaires. His Nesting Place is a ministry the residence there are made to attend church service we were not allowed to attend our own church but were made to attend church services led by "Pastor Al" or "Papa" where he would stand at his pulpit and preach about himself (like the Jim Jones protege he is)after a ridiculously long half hour of gospel music that we were forced to stand to. They say they're a nondenominational church but have all of the traits of tambourine shaking, snake charming southern baptists. If you are ever unfortunate enough to end up at His Nesting Place take warning DO NOT DRINK THE KOOL-AID!!!! REPEAT: DO NOT DRINK THE KOOL-AID (for anyone who doesn't get this reference look up Jones Town). After staying at His Nesting Place I feel as if I should be on a TV program called I Survived a Cult, I'm just glad I made it out before we all picked up and moved to Guyana. read more

Place advertises a place where you can get in your feet and have your baby but in reality that's not the case. They kick women out for not being able to hold their babies and for not leaving their baby behind with a staff member to attend events. It is not free to stay you have to pay $400 a month and if you receive food stamps you pay $300 cash and $100 in food stamps although you never really know where your food stamps go because they receive food donations from Ralph's every single week. There were rats running around in there and they were nonchalant, they would ask was a picture taken to prove it and once the pictures started to be taken then they started setting out traps. They are infested with grout worms in showers and also have roaches. The place is ran by Christians, so they say but aren't portraying that image very well. If you don't agree with what they have to say they assume you have the devil in you and even the pastor wife had told someone they like ones like they did witch craft before the had a witch look. This place is falsely advertised and if they argue with any of these facts there are plenty of personal testimonies who can attest to the horrible experience there. The only reason it's one star is because it wouldn't allow me to leave a review without a rating read more

ive been a part of volunteering at his nesting place, a home for women & children. pastors al & judy, and all their staff, are compassionate & very loving to the women & children, the home feels like home, and the kitchen is a dream kitchen to cook meals, truly the hand of god has been upon this ministry, in saving lives over 6800 babies in 38 yrs. i am blessed to be a sidewalk counselor after being trained by his nesting place staff. im thankful im able to let women know there is help available, abortion is not their only hope. i always share about his nesting place. god bless pastor al & pastor judy, and all their loving & amazing staff read more

The church is located in a nice neighborhood in Manteca. There is plenty of accessible parking in the large parking lot and street. The church is bright, huge, and spacious inside. There are plenty of pews available for parishioners and guests. A large fountain area with holy water is in the front. The pristine decor is traditional and modern. Overall I enjoyed my experience of a wedding mass at Saint Anthony Catholic Church. The priest had a lovely homily about marriage of course. He was engaging and had a good sense of humor. The church served as a beautiful backdrop for the wedding.

His Nesting Place is a Christian ministry-based home, designed for pregnant women and their children. If you didn't quite understand me, let me repeat myself. It is a Christian ministry-based home for pregnant women and their children. Pastor Al and his wife Judy have been called to do the work of the Lord for over 40 years. Their mission is to "Save Lives and Save Souls." These "Lives", start in the womb. Many of the women who come through the doors of the home, fail to realize this. They are so quick to accept the policy rules to just get accepted into the program. Once they move in, they tend to forget them or even try to change them. I am pleased to be a part of His Nesting Place. Yes, policies do change from time to time, and this is for good reasons. When new circumstances arise, new policies need to be set forth. This is for the protection of the mothers, children, and staff. We get women from all walks of life. We don't turn anyone away based on their past. I am so greatful for his nesting place and the pastor as well as his wife. When I was in a desperate situation they took me in and made sure I had everything I needed for my self my unborn as well as my other two children. I came in pretty ruff from a long life of craziness, but it was there in that home that I learned to be a responsible mother and ever I learned who I was as a women. The staff was always willing and available for anything myself or the children needed. In the two years I lived there we grew very close to the staff and today 16 yrs later they are still like family I try and volunteer when I can and will always be greatful for what I learned in my time there. It saddens me to read the reviews that other former moms there have written some people just dont know good even thei have it. read more

I would give them a zero. They were going to kick me out the weekend I was supposed to have my baby I humbled myself cried and apologized even though it wasnt my fault. They want u to do better but as soon as it looks like you are getting your life under control they snatch u back to show who has the control. They had rats. That's why I left. Also they let pedophiles in. I befriended a woman they let in to do a class with us. She was so friendly. I would never recommend this place to my closest friends. Also the girl was right about them wanting you to leave your kids with them while they take you out and show off the pregnant mommies and ask for donations. read more

This place is scary. I don't know anyone who would be comfortable living here while pregnant or raising a baby in this environment. I've been to other shelters like this one over the years, but this one is just straight up creepy. Bed bugs, controlling staff who are also rude to visitors and support people, and very little privacy or respect for the residents who live here. I hope folks coming to this organization for help know there are other options out there. Ones who don't require you to pay them yet also call themselves a nonprofit. Places like this shouldn't exist. read more

I currently live at His Nesting place and i honestly have nothing to complain about I found the Lord here . We pray together every morning . I have sisters through Christ here . My daughter loves being here . This is my home . And let me tell you I've never had a Christmas like this one . This Christmas here at his nesting place was such a blessing for me and my kids . His Nesting is very nice with caring, supportive and loving staff and moms. Everyone is respectful and understanding to the point that I feel like I can talk to the managers about anything. The moms are my sisters and christ. We very well taking care of in a positive thankful way. Me n my children have had such a wonderful Christmas and about to have best new year opening up with loving surrounding of moms with children and the staff.
