The praise and worship is beautiful and non- performative like when the ex wife was leading it. In fact, when she was there she made a comment that just turned me off completely. She had been invited to an award show to sing and so she asked the congregation to pray for her because " this ain't like Sunday morning this is the REAL DEAL right here!" What??? Here I am thinking that Sunday morning is the REAL deal. If YOU'RE real! Like I said, the atmosphere is different. I have been attending and I enjoy it.

They are a United Church of Christ, and the ministers are so kind and eloquent with their sermons. I feel so connected to God after attending church- it feeds my soul. The church is located in a nice neighborhood in Manteca. There is plenty of accessible parking in the large parking lot and street. The church is bright, huge, and spacious inside. There are plenty of pews available for parishioners and guests. A large fountain area with holy water is in the front. The pristine decor is traditional and modern. Overall I enjoyed my experience of a wedding mass at Saint Anthony Catholic Church. The priest had a lovely homily about marriage of course. He was engaging and had a good sense of humor. This is a smaller church and they will notice you! And I mean that in the best way. When I was looking for a church one of the things I did is I looked at their website and there's a YouTube of Pastor Nick talking about the church and there's testimonies of some of the disciples of the church and that's what really sold me. There is help here, there is interaction, there is the Holy Spirit!
