I uktimately got diagnosed with some catch-all autoimmune disease and was prescribed meds (harsh meds with sever implications) to "see how they work". Yea- no thanks. More than once it went as high as 200/100, and Dec 2017, my chiro caught it at 200/115, straight to urgent care I went. That Dr did some tests, asked me a lot of questions and saw no signs of a potential stroke, at the end of that session, my bp came down to 150/90-100 (I forget exactly). So he didn't change any meds but told me to see my cardiologist. I did that, and she told me to just keep doing what I'm doing and changed nothing. Those meds she gave me made me feel sick, light-headed, blurred vision, confused, very sleepy and brought my heart rate down to the low 50's.
