Incompetent. I couldn't recommend to anyone. They took care of my properties for 2 years and ended…read moreup killing off a few trees and water starved all the other trees on the property. They were supposed to winterize the drip system and told me they had done it. Come spring the backflow had to be replaced because they never winterized it. Then it was rebuilt by Anthony. The backflow was never tightened up and leaked everywhere when it was turned on. They came back and fixed the backflow but never turned the water back on. So the whole season nothing was getting water. Every time I asked if everything was working and getting water I was told yes. So when I finally took it upon myself to check for myself, I discovered they never turned the water back on after fixing the backflow for the second time. So the whole spring and summer they lied to me about the plants getting water. So I'm working up a case with the Registrar of Contractors office.

I hate doing this, I almost never leave a bad review. But it has been months now. At the end of…read more2024 he refinished and remounted my main front gate to my home. Everything went great. Appeared to be a quality job. Jared was professional and responsive. Fast forward a year or so, in November last year the gate started falling (the top anchor bolt started loosening) and the gate has been hitting and rubbing. Pretty soon it won't be able to latch. I reached out to Jared immediately via text several times. Even offered to pay him, though clearly this was a faulty install. No response. Called him, no response. Eventually by some miracle I got him to answer after 2 months trying on and off, he said he was in an attic and couldn't hear me. I could hear him. Then I couldn't get him for another week or two. Got him one more time and as soon as he heard my name and property address he hung up. Now I think my calls are being blocked. I haven't been rude or unreasonable, just wanting to know if he can come fix my gate. Apparently Precision Ornamental has no other recourse for any follow up besides Jared. I think he's the owner and only staff member. No office staff, the website email option didn't bear fruits, and the physical location says they are located at the Staples Office store in Washington. I haven't been to check it out, but I think it's phony. Jared appears to be alive and not in any distress, I have spoken with him, but he refuses to answer further or call back. Just goes straight to voicemail. Jared if you are reading this, I will gladly take down this review and post a better one if you will call me and come to my house to fix my gate. I don't think it will be that difficult, so to avoid a job like this seems completely insane. I intend to pay another gate contractor within 2 weeks of this post if I have had no response. I already have calls in to a couple. Until further notice, if anyone is considering Precision Ornamental, I would avoid them at all costs. There are plenty of quality contractors out there. Again, if there is some extenuating circumstance (death in the family, etc) I am very sympathetic and will happily change my tune. Respectfully offered, Brady Platt.

Today is Nov. 12, almost one month later and still nothing, and he has not responded to my last 3 messages. Complete flake. We were referred to Juan and Xtreme Roofing. Juan came promptly, surveyed the damage, and provided an estimate (insurance did not pay for the roof, but they were great at covering the interior work). Not only was the estimate reasonable--as well as the final cost--but the work was done efficiently and on schedule. The insurance company then spent some time flying a drone over the finished work to verify satisfactory completion. (Some of the problems resulted from an improper installation of a plumbing drain vent [no flashing was used] during the original construction--26 years ago; other issues were simply age related in conjunction with poor drainage design.) We plan to have them come regularly to make sure everything remains waterproof and in good repair--we do not want to go through the destruction and renovation process again.
