Now, Maltin doesn't taste like anything I've had in America, so I highly recommend trying it. The unique Maltin flavor has a caramel, brown-sugar base, and was perfect for the semi-chilly night due to its warming flavors. Alex Burgers isn't your traditional American burger. Rather, it's Venezuelan carne asada with frites and a delicious sauce creating an unusual-and tasty-meal. It also comes with cheese, but I opted out of that part. The restaurant it fairly small, but has ten or so booths. You can order at the window or at the kiosk next to it (which is where the staff pointed me). They are friendly and eager to assist-and describe the menu options-I think they understand that their food is unique and first timers might need a little orientation. Rumor has it that there is a "space bus" out back with additional dining, fun music and lighting. But I'm told it's only open on the weekend, so I'll need to come back for that.

The Chicharrón Bowl came with crispy pork belly over Colombian yellow potatoes, melted cheese, guacamole, and their house garlic sauce. The potatoes were cooked perfectly and I especially loved all the crispy bits throughout the bowl. It paired super well with their hot BBQ sauce too. The Guanábana (soursop drink) was really refreshing and went great with the richness of the pork.
