If I could rate negative 100 I would these people scheduled a 1400 hours interview with me then ask me what was the purpose of my visit after I stated interview and arrived on time . We do a drug screening I tested positive for drugs prescribed in my safe .The receptionist states blah blah you tested positive we did say you were getting a drug screening I said yes but while I've been working since the age of 14 and for the state and federal government and departed on good terms usually employers want you to be unaware of drug screenings so people don't try to beat the test. Don't wash your hands or flush standard policy we have hand sanitizer I said cool followed protocol then after full compliance I said I need soap sanitizer doesn't completely clean your hands she complied.Tried to call the pharmacy to have it faxed over and I ultimately drove home and came back.These jackoffs made me waste my petro and time twice they get my bottle of meds verifying a correct legal script by two employees then the male says I'm taking this back here to scan it .In no job have I ever worked were they are copying personal scripts and thinking he's taking my pills without me being there I don't know if you are taking pills out of my bottle are you crazy! I said no you all do too much and please give me my copy of my drivers license and social security card they complied. This is definitely not the place for me especially a person that likes to protect their pertinent/identifying information.Beyond not helpful service. read more

I have only used them once and although they appear professional and helpful, that is not the case. I was sent to an interview by Shaunda and after the interview and an offer of temp to hire I accepted the position. I lasted about 2.5 weeks and decided it wasn't the job for me and not just because the owner assigned everyone one black Bic stick pen (no really, no kidding, one pen and we were to go back to him when it ran out) but because of numerous aspects that I consider cons as opposed to pros including an office and restroom that hadn't been cleaned in the 9 years they had been in that building. Seriously, there were cob webs in the corners and dust accumulation bigger than a cantaloupe! I called HireLevel, also known as ExtraHelp, to let Shaunda know and had to leave a message that I after careful consideration had decided it wasn't the job for me and could she please call me. No response. Emailed her that same day. No response. Left another message with the receptionist. Still no response. Also, originally I had given her a voided check so my paycheck's would be direct deposit...after the first check came in the mail I emailed her asking for direct deposit again. Still got mailed out checks instead. Bottom line was, this employer wasn't a good match for me and I wasn't a good match for him but being ignored by the agency is unacceptable in my opinion! I cannot recommend this Edwardsville location because of that. read more

I have worked with Extra Help both in Edwardsville, IL and now in Birmingham, AL, they go over and beyond to attain the best employees from the staffing pool. I ran their services adjacent to another staffing agency in the Birmingham, AL area where they were pulling from the same pool of potential employees and I had a better quality of employee and better retention rate. read more

Complete waste of time. I only applied due to a job opening in my hometown but was told the job didn't exist in my interview. Told me to call twice a week to see if there were any new openings but when I did they told me to just use the website (which had the false job opening I applied for in the beginning). I suspect that they are selling their clients personal information. read more

My employer used this company, but canceled them for good reason. I needed a replacement W-2 and they want to charge me $25.00 for a replacement W-2. I would not recommend them for your employees. I always had trouble getting into my account to see my payroll stub. My 1st pay check was credited to my checking account for 2 employees. They made a lot of mistakes and I was patient with them and now when I need their help they want to charge me. I should have asked to be compensated for my inconvienence when they errored my payroll. Funny how they can make mistakes but then when other do they want to be charged. read more

so i had an interview with them for 8:30 am called at about 10 o clock to reschedule and they said i was a no-call & no-show... well because i called in they gave me another "group" interview for a later time. but later that same day i got hired by another company, so when i called to cancel my appointment they said if i didnt show up to the interview they would never consider me for employment. so much for giving people some extra help... read more
