The first unfortunate event after dropping it off was a colleague telling me they had previously damaged a €200 dress of hers (I wish she'd told me earlier when I said I was going there) but it was too late now to get my coat back. When I collected my coat the next day I was handed it on a hanger with a plastic covering as expected. It appeared fine from minimal review and the employee (manager) handing it to me didn't mention anything. When I got back to the office and took it out of the plastic wrapping I saw that there was a bleach stain all across the collar and on other parts of the coat. I went online and filled in the 5 a sec online form. Then next day they contacted me to say I should take my coat to the original location to show them the damage and get a claim form. When I had time 2 days later I went. The first 3 employees didn't speak English so I had to wait for the manager who after hearing me say damage suddenly pretended she didn't speak any English (suddenly she forgot a language in 2 days :/ ). A customer waiting behind me translated but I did pick up the managers hostility as she denied responsibility. She pointed to a comment on the ticket that said discoloration (refereed to the fading of the green) as evidence the bleach stain was preexisting. I only wish I had the sense to read reviews prior to entrusting my clothing to cowboys or that my colleague had the foresight to warn me when I had told them where I was going to dry clean my cloths. If you can wash your cloths at home do it as you bear a lower risk of damaging your cloths then entrusting it at this place and hopefully your own customer service to yourself is far superior to the manager of this place, AVOID!!!

I finally bit the bullet since Lav-O-Seul had such great reviews, and my experience was mixed. I went in on a Saturday shortly before they closed. I didn't realize that they only took cash, quite an inconvenience since it's so expensive. Several other customers and I had to go to the ATM and come back. They told me my clothes would be ready Monday afternoon. I went back around 6:30 p.m. on Monday, and they said they needed an extra day to redo a few items and that I should come back the following day. This was annoying, since the location isn't particularly convenient for me. And when I thought about it later, it would have been nice if they had offered to give me the items that were done. When I went back on Tuesday afternoon, everything was done, and seemingly done well. They use a massive amount of staples to identify the clothes, and annoyingly, they don't take them out, so your tags will be covered in staples that you have to remove yourself. I find this annoying, since part of why I'm paying someone else to clean my clothes is to minimize the amount of work for myself. However, I will keep going back if I don't hear about a better place.

I just hate ironing my hubby's shirts, but I have always done it reluctantly, because I felt that the prices I have seen until now were just too high. However, this small and local shop does them for €2,5/shirt. So I decided to give it a try and test 4 shirts. The outcome was just impeccable and I was able to pick them up already the next day. This seriously saves my life (and my time), hence the great rating. I haven't tried their other services, but just having a look at the store, I can tell that clients must be very satisfied with the service. So will I go back to this place? That will definitely be a YES.

In as much as one can get excited about laundry places, this one is good…read more Impeccably clean and open until 22:00, it's saved us on more than one occassion. It's got some giant 14kg machines and a vending machine for products too. The walls are adorned in instructions and it's got a giant pressing machine that I have no idea how to use. The family who run the place are absolutely lovely, and it's thanks to them this place stays in such good shape. The location is great, about 30 seconds from place Flagey so its easy to go get an ice-cream or drink while waiting. Just wish they had wifi!

I've had my share of laundry mats, but this one has definitely been one of the nicest ones granted…read moreI haven't a clue how it stacks up to other laundry mats in Brussels or Ixelles, however, I'll report on my 2 cents. Overall, Quality Wash was efficient for me. No need for coins exclusively since they have a checking system that takes the money using one teller machine you just have to choose the washer/dryer number at the check out. I think it's great since all the laundry mats I've ever been to have coin slots only and even though it's not a big deal it is slightly inconvenient turning all those bills into coins. Here they take bills, coins, and some cards. There is also a phone to call management in case the machine eats your money. Besides the machines that would obviously be here they have a press, a tiny (stress tiny) TV sitting area, and free wifi. There is also a vending machine with detergent and snacks.... oddly not separated. If you want a snack there is also a cafe & a small convience store within the same block. Machines weren't terribly big so if you have a lot you might be waiting awhile. There are two larger machines though for comforters or big loads. Kudos for also keeping the place clean. The first night we used it they had staff wiping machines down and general maintenance-- makes home seem barberic. Well, anyways, it's the cleanest laundry mat I've been in.
