Went back to the same person... doug... he said something about me going to find it on aisle 5 and he couldnt leave his register. (I had zero idea what I was looking for) the manager came up behind me, spoke with my husband on the phone, handed me the part and walked off. Went back to the same register behind one person. Was then told to go to the next register with 3 people as the man who couldn't leave his register WALKED OFF TO ASSIST A MAN.... I asked my husband if I could go anywhere else and get this... he said not in Mountain Home... so I waited while the manager watched.... finally another guy walked up and checked me out. I won't be guilty of coming back. Not one person asked everyone there if they had gotten a phone call. Everyone acted irritated to help me. No thanks.

It was like having the store to ourselves. The garden department had lovely flowers and all the landscaping supplies we needed. The fixtures department gave us terrific choices for our bathroom and kitchen faucets. We found great brand choices. We easily found the mold-resistant sheet rock we wanted, despite the layout of this store being a bit different from our home base. For this trip, rather than using a standard shopping cart, we used one of the flat carts. When it began to overflow, we found a family of them parked in row closely nearby. It was so easy! We were approached by two different associates offering help, which was appreciated. When we checked out, the employee at the register was friendly and engaging. I'm glad we found this location!

Unlike Lowe's or Home Depot, this is a full-service hardware: customers walk up to the counter to ask for the items they need. The customer service representatives will ask questions about the job to ensure you're buying the right tools for the job, and then you follow them through the store as they pick up the items, checking to make sure you're getting the right thing. I've never had to return anything. They also have a full range of services: knife sharpening, key copies, propane exchange, carpet cleaner rental, and ice. I do wish they could extend their Saturday hours and allow their employees Sunday and Monday off...that would mean a lot to those of us who work 8-5 M-F. Also, I know the first reviewer.
