However, I called "Mr. Bill" with a question and we ended up speaking on the phone for 10 minutes about several things. He was so friendly and personable. I met his wife when she came in to write me a receipt. She was also extremely friendly and we chatted for some time. The most amazing thing is that the lobby is left open and unlocked. It's like a little living room with 2 large w/d for guests and a clean bathroom with a shower. We will definitely be staying there when husband has to work in the Union City area.

Self serve check in but we had reserved and paid ahead through RoverPass. Not a place to stay longer because it's out in the middle of nowhere. They do have nice bathrooms and showers. Full hookup available. Some of the sites weren't marked so it was hard to figure out where your site number was. And there were a lot of big trees with branches hanging down. Harder for big rigs to get under. Overall ok for a quick overnight stay while traveling.

You can rent it daily for as big as a full size RV with water and electric or you can just pitch a tent. The owners are super friendly and the will hang out with you in the office and club house. The do have a wash room with shower if your pitching a tent with no RV. There is a Dollar General across the street which had food, liquor, supplies etc. which is very convenient and I think I went over about 4 times. There is a few restaurants near by and outdoor recreation is plentiful.

We made a reservation that day (it seemed pretty packed early October so we got the last available spot). The staff here were very friendly, and we didn't have to pay until we arrived at the site. It was so affordable! With a Good Sam discount, our one night stay amounted to just ~$34! We were very happy with the price, which included full hook-ups (+ cable TV), a shower house, and a swimming pool (? I think). The next morning, we had our propane filled at that site and left. The owners here were very thoughtful and organized. Thought the campground wasn't very big, when we drove in, the owner had us follow her in her golf cart so we knew exactly where to pull in and how to park our extra truck. Will come back again!

They are dog friendly and have a dog park with poop bags. The office and tv room, with great a/c and fan and lots of dvds and books is perfect. The bathrooms are immaculate but the showers are tiny, i'm 5'6" size 4, I felt cramped, use the handicap bathroom for a shower. The spots are level on packed rock drive thrus. I'd give Duck Creek RV Park 5 stars if there were trees. Otherwise, this is a great RV park.

They have creek frontage so you can wade in Big Creek-if you so desire. Also have a little store for the I forgot it crowd. There was a nice pool and everything is geared for the kids. There was a hay ride and speed limit of 5 miles an hour is enforced ( lots of kids on bikes) the camp ground is close to many state parks. The abbey restaurant is a 20 minute drive and home to awesome food. This is a good base for lots of activities. A great place to go with in 2 hours of St. Louis. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

No one offered them napkins, BUT I am an always be prepared kinda lady and had Charmin wet wipes in our tour pack. Ya never know! The BBQ, AMAZING! It always is. There is a campground/RV park in behind the bar and General Store. Very clean and well maintained. I've stayed there a couple of nights in the past. I've been told that on Tuesday's they have an amazing steak dinner. I've never been there for that, but I'm looking forward very much to trying it soon. They have…read moreover 100 camp sites, bath/shower house, pool, store, bar, live band, pavilion, they cook every weekend night. Very family oriented unless you decide to go to the bar that is. The owner Mary was very accommodating to our family and always very warm and welcoming when we stopped in the store. All the campers were the same. We were tent camping but Mary let us set up in front of a rental camper so we could use the electric to charge to boat and she was even gave us access to the camper to use the restroom and wash our dishes. She ever notified us that a neighboring camper was putting their camper up for sale and was just what we were looking for. We are now considering buying the camper and having a place up there of our own.
