Since the first day I sat down to speak with Chris regarding the details of my case, I got the sense that my concerns were being handled, the facts of the case didn't lead me to an oblivion of possible outcomes, and that I would no longer be alone in the fight for my defense. I must have lost so much sleep in the months leading up to my decision. My mind was going a mile a minute. This review is long overdue, but I needed to take the time to write how everyone at "Hines Ranc & Holub" has saved, and continues to save my life. A few years ago, I made a mistake that I thought would ruin my life forever. Thanks to this law firm I was given a second chance. Ever since the first moment I came in and meet Mr. Hines. I felt reassured that he was going to do everything in his power to help me out. Every time I stepped in the court room with him, I was glad that he was the on my side, fighting for me. Still to this day, when I call their offices, and their receptionist answers the phone. It's a good feeling that even they remember me as soon as I state my name. When I walked into the office of Hines Ranc & Holub I thought my future looked extremely dark. I was first greeted by their friendly receptionist and quickly had a meeting with Bill and Chris. After hearing my dilemma and a briefing of my record they quickly put my mind at ease and at that moment I knew I had chosen the right Law Firm after hours of searching the internet for the best attorneys in Austin. Recently I received a DWI charge in Travis County. I have to say that was the scariest time of my life, not knowing what would happen to me. I searched online and read reviews trying to figure out how to choose an attorney. I am so grateful to have come across the Law Offices of Hines Ranc and Holub. When I called to schedule my consultation the office staff was so nice and helpful making me feel much less stressed about my case. From the moment my consultation with Bill Hines ended I knew this was the best law office to handle my DWI. Mr. Hines explained the entire process from start to finish, laid out all possible outcomes for my first offense. The firm contacted me to come in and watch my arrest video and Mr. Hines all positive and negative points of my video with me. The office was so good about helping me setup any classes or other preemptive courses/counseling to help my case. Chris was EXTREMELY helpful, diligent and amazing with helping my partner get through what could have been a long drawn out DWI process. Long story short, his case was no longer even active because it was so old. Chris researched his case, went to the judge and asked what possible outcomes we could expect. He came back with our options and explained the entire thing. Never did he pressure us into any decisions and only made recommendations. He quickly got the warrant lifted so his license could be re-instated. He told us exactly what we could be doing for the best possible outcome. We came to him in late January and we had the entire cleared up, warrant gone and probation discharged by May. And after that when I dug myself into an even deeper hole! I didn't think I would see the end of the mess I was in, but I got all charges wiped off my record and my life back! I have used this firm's services twice. In both cases, 2007 and 2013, Chis represented me. In total, I have had several misdemeanors and 5 felonies and as it stands, I have a CLEAN record as of 2017! I do have to admit that, during the process, while Chris was handling my cases there were times where my future looked so grim that I thought that it would be the end of me. I highly recommend this Law Firm to anyone looking for great lawyers! They now have WOWED me twice!! In the past I made wrong decisions. Chris and Bill were there for me when I didn't even know they were helping me. At the time they were my childs father lawyers. They helped me get a OR bond, I was pregnant and due at any time. I didn't find out they did that until after my child was a month old. This was back in 01. I remembered their help and used them for myself. When you are faced with a life sentence for a crime you didn't commit, it seems like the police should be able to figure out you are innocent and free you. Well, that's not how it works in our justice system. My partner was accused and we had proof he didn't do it.
