I am OK providing the necessary information but the process was very annoying because I frequently had to follow up with my agent to remind her to complete the next step. After about a week and a half, I stopped hearing from my agent about the quote she had promised. I reached out to her and asked if Farmers was going to quote my insurance. She said yes and yet another week has gone by with no contact from my agent. At this point I'd fed up with Farmers and don't want to do business with them. As the Saturday wore on and all three of the companies I called to get Homeowners Insurance with a Renter Property Insur Policy Packet quotes from ALL went to VM. I did my due diligence and made a short list of 4 companies to call, checking each name prior to calling 1) Proximity to the property/us 2) Better Bus Bureau rating 3) Yelp rating. The 4th and last phone call actually was one that made the list on all three counts! AND the owner of the company answered the phone himself at 3:30 pm on a Saturday. Rob Salvo of Mt. Diablo Insur answers! Instead of blowing smoke up my wazoo and gladly telling me he would love to take my business, he gave me the honest down and dirty. Telling me what was going on in the industry currently, THAT I SHOULD STAY PUT and here's why. Information that was 5,000 percent invaluable. In less than 15 minutes he, convinced me NOT to move my policy to another company and why, wait 6 months to revisit when the industry has likely ironed out these problems, be thankful my current provider has renewed us, and how to solve the LLC issue that was forcing me to change in the first place, not only THAT, but to call him back if I had trouble getting my current provider to add the LLC endorsement and he'd help me with that too!! Color me flabbergasted! All out of the graciousness and kindness of his heart. There was nothing in this phone call for him. And I will remember this for the rest of my life and tell 100 people to call Mt. Diablo Insurance because you will get honesty, fairness, loyalty and exceptional business. Thank you Rob Salvo. Allstate pricing is fair reasonable and auto-payment gives us a sense of policy security. Last year ... OMG ... homeowners policy was on the chopping block because we live in Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone in Calaveras County. Alejandra and Andy went to work on our behalf to aquire California Fair Plan dwelling fire insurance. It took nearly 6 months to work out details and in the end premium was about $800 annual increase. We heard stories of $5000 increases and more. Fusion Agency realizes the value of loyal customers and will work extra hard to retain commited policyholders. Jumping from insurance to insurance you loose grandfather customer loyalty and pay higher premiums. Stick with Fusion Insurance ... it pays in the long run.
