Do not think a store that baits people to visit and does not stand behind their sale prices deserves my patronage. Perhaps they do not deserve yours.

We popped in a few times while we visited my in laws. They have a great produce section. The…read moreraspberries "on sale" were particularly delicious. We also tried the cheese curds which also exceeded expectations. Then we got some very expensive chicken that we turned into fried chicken. Apparently the local chicken farmers lost their livestock so prices were higher than normal. The employees were friendly and helped me find everything I needed.

Walmart is just so darned convenient. They have just about everything. The parking lot is huge. And…read moreits generally pretty easy to check out and pay for your stuff. Today was a decent experience. The parking lot was clean and there was no trash, though it could have been the high wind today. Cart corrals needed attention. Inside the store, mostly tidy and only a few areas where there were items missing. The grocery area was well stocked and I found my travel snacks. My wife and I live 30 miles away from Marshall and shop at Walmart a lot. Today we were buying some…read morecat food and other items at the self check out and we didn't know if we had scanned all the items correctly so we asked for help. The self checkout person (dawn) was extremely rude. Instead of just checking to see if we had the appropriate number of items scanned she just CANCELED OUR ENTIRE PURCHASE!!! Then she told us to start checking out again. That was the last thing we had to scan to finish our purchase. We had to rescan everything again. When we told her all we wanted was a check of the correct number of items and asked her why she canceled our entire purchase she told us "I hope you don't come back again". We went to customer service to tell them about our experience and they were very understanding and helpful. On the way out of the store Dawn had a rude comment to us which we went back to customer service and told them about. They were appalled to hear someone working for Walmart would speak to their customers like that. We will NEVER go to Walmart in Marshall again!! We will do our shopping in Sioux Falls where there are Target stores and they know how to treat the people who shop in their store with respect!!!! We will share this experience with others.

I needed Crème Fresca for a recipe I had in mind and found myself without... I'm so glad the cheese selection is pretty extensive because I found what I needed and more! One thing to take note of is- They have two prices, one is higher slightly for CC users and the other is for cash paying customers. I don't mind paying the extra fee, honestly things are tough for all sectors of the economy so I get it. Also, plenty of parking in front and the back end of the building. Super nice people working here, and customer service is great. will be back for all my Latin Brands.

My Aldis Rocks!!…read more Currently living in a small town in SW MN, our Aldi's is much bigger than other stores I've been to in LA, AZ. And I appreciate that!! We have so many options for food, toilletries, fruits, and veggies to choose from. I always seem to walk out with several sweet finds that I had no idea I needed from the aisle of shame that no one can escape from walking by. Love the selection, the staff is helpful, there is plenty of parking in the front. Just don't forget those quarters, I always seem to myself. Now, I just stash a few in my car at all times. it's frustrating showing up and then realizing I donthave quarters for the shopping cart. lesson learned!
