From the moment my parents and I walked into the hotel, we felt genuinely welcomed. The staff was incredibly hospitable and attentive throughout our stay. When they learned that we were celebrating my mother's birthday and my parents' anniversary, they went above and beyond by sending a cake up to our room and even upgrading us to include lounge access. That thoughtful gesture made the trip feel extra special and is something we will always remember. The lounge ended up being one of the best perks of our stay. It was spacious, comfortable, and well maintained, with plenty of seating areas to relax in. Having access to food, snacks, drinks, and the evening happy hour was a huge help. The happy hour offerings were substantial enough that they could easily count as a light meal, which saved us both time and money since we did not need to go out searching for dinner every evening. Another thing I really appreciated was how quickly the staff handled an issue with our room. Our initial room was not cooling down properly and after we contacted the front desk, they arranged a room change very promptly. The entire process was smooth, easy, and professional and we felt well taken care of from start to finish. For anyone arriving by public transportation, I wanted to share a helpful tip: coming from one of Strasbourg's main bus terminals, we eventually learned that the easiest route was to take the D tram, transfer to the E tram, and then walk about 3-4 minutes to the hotel. Once we figured it out, it was quite straightforward, but having that information ahead of time would have saved us some confusion. Overall, this hotel was an excellent choice for our trip and really allowed us to enjoy Strasbourg and the surrounding region. It was a comfortable home base for exploring the city and it was especially convenient for visiting the famous wine country, which became one of the highlights of our vacation. We spent our days exploring charming villages and vineyards and then returned to a welcoming hotel each evening. This is definitely on the older side of Hilton hotels based on the looks of the rooms and everything, but overall a decent hotel. The staff is super nice. They have a restaurant and bar. Diamond members get access to a happy hour at the executive lounge and free breakfast. Food was alright, nothing super special. It was good for a one night stay. Staying in Hiltons around the world, sadly, this is the worst I've stayed at. So bad that I wouldn't be surprised if they lose their Hilton status soon. We booked two rooms for two nights in August. The rate was reasonable. Check in was easy and the staff member helping us was delightful. That was truly the only thing good about our stay. The entire hotel is outdated, run down, smells of mildew, and feels sticky. The rooms are small and outdated. Both of our rooms had long black hair in different places in the bathroom upon arrival. Breakfast was horrible. They have all the usual items, but it isn't presented well and the space is crowded. Nothing tastes good and the coffee was the worst I've ever had. It truly tasted like the users sewage water. The executive lounge was disgusting too. It's stuffy, dark, and the food isn't good there either. At one or two points in our two-night stay, we didn't have electricity, hot water, nor WiFi. There is a paid parking lot and a tram stop into the old town is a five minute walk away, but these factors weren't enough to redeem our stay. read more

We are Hilton diamond level so we always look for their hotels when traveling. The advantage of staying at a Hilton includes the consistency of care and amenities. Here, there is access to a nice executive lounge which has waters, sodas, Heineken in tap and coffees at all hours. For breakfast, you can have the hotel buffet which is quite nice and in the evening, the happy hour which brings out a selection of wines and food. Today, there is a chicken and mushroom casserole over rice which I liked because I have missed. There is a cream of mushroom soup, cold meats and cheeses, breads, cheese cake and a filled doughnut for dessert. It can easily be a light dinner. The staff is very attentive here including arranging for a 5am taxi for my departure. It's always a nice way to end the day and my first visit to the Christmas markets which are a 15 minute walk or 2-3 tram stops away. Very convenient to many of the markets here in the Capital of Christmas. Before arriving at the hotel, it was an easy tram ride in from Kehl Germany after a transfer and 5 minute walk. Worst Hotel I have stayed at in years can't believe it's Hilton. At arrival room was ready they claimed. Got to the room and the beds weren't even made up housekeeping, said give us five. They gave us handicap when we reserved the room over a month ago. Went downstairs to the front desk which Very Rude Hard to believe this is how a diamond member is treated. Would not change the room. The mattress was hard as a rock . Called down asked why the air conditioning wasn't working they came up and said open the window. (My son in laws rooms was cool) Would have been nice to have a sheet not just a comforter. The handicap, shower soaked the bathroom had to ask for extra towels for the flood. Also Maybe if you're not using the room for handicap, you could turn the blinking ref light off. Executive lounge definitely not a perk of your status at this hotel the food was pitiful. This is not an ideal hotel for Strasbourg tourists. It seems to be designed for the business traveler and if that description fits you, that's okay. I booked for two nights and after the first, checked out to stay with my friend in the city. Even though it was still the first night of my reservation, I was told that it was too late to change and I paid for a second night that I did not use. As a Diamond in the Hilton Honors program, I had a nice room on the executive floor though there was no executive lounge access due to COVID. I was not offered any vouchers for breakfast. The room was clean, quiet and complete with coffee service, work desk, shower/tub (with the usual half door thing Europeans seem to like) and enough outlets to charge my phone and laptop. The hotel wifi worked well. There was no noise from outside despite the significant construction on the (convention center?). The counter staff all spoke perfect English, which was helpful. Sorry Hilton, but way off the mark. We had to move rooms as the bathrooms shower only ran scalding water. Yes we fiddled with it to no avail. Above the mini fridge was the coffee setup, but no plug...huh! So you had to pick up the tray and move it to the desk for the plug. Not fun first thing in the morning. The restaurant was closed for dinner on the weekend and this location was no where near any cafes or restaurants. The executive lounge door wouldn't open. Every one had to go to the front desk and even they had trouble and had to go around back of the restaurant and come in through the back to open it up. We were booked here 2 separate weekends so it was never fixed either time. read more

The service I had was great. Everyone was nice and friendly. They were more than happy to help me in English since i don't speak french. The 2 stars down is it is a run down Hilton. The lobby is standard. But once upstairs it feels it needs to be updated heavily. Hallways is dark and worn. Enter our room hoping it would be better but it also was run down. Chair had dirt stains and was flat. Furniture from the 90s look but bathroom updated. Carpet was really worn that it was torn open and was threading in several areas. Not to hilton standards. We went to Strasbourg for a long weekend. Arrived on Friday and went to the lounge for a drink before dinner. Staff in the Executive Lounge and the front desk were friendly. No upgrade with Hilton once again, beginning to think it a scam as we have not seen a free upgrade in years. We had dinner in the brassier at the hotel. The win list is good but the food is sourly lacking and we would not recommend. As for breakfast this is the first Hilton that I've seen in almost 20 years with an Executive lounge that did not serve breakfast. As for the breakfast in the restaurant, it was substandard at best. Runny scrambled eggs, no cook to order eggs and the staff at breakfast was generally unhelpful. In short the restaurant reminded us of a motel 8 and not a Hilton. The rooms are small but nice. Clean accommodations and friendly informative staff. Parked in the hotel parking, spaces are compact and the lot lit and clean. Staff does inform of ongoing in the city and recommends public transport. Breakfast cycles through standard fare for diverse diets. Nice place to stay overall. read more

I'm disabled. When I made my reservation (direct telephone call) I asked for an accessible room near the elevator. I confirmed this with the desk clerk when I checked in. I did not get an accessible room CNN (or for right wing fans, Fox News) on their TV program guide. Neither was present in my room's TV. Finally, a Hilton Hotel without a concierge? What? I called the front desk for help to arrange for wheelchair at the TGV Train. The response was essentially, "You want one? Do it yourself." Their service otherwise was with smiles from pleasant personnel. The food was good. My room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and for those two reasons, I moved their review from 2 stars to three. I don't think, however, this property lives up to the Hilton brand. read more

Uh, yeah. Stay here. My room is huge, and the bathroom is all sparkly. I guess this Hilton accomodates people here on parliamentary business, so it's very nice and business traveller oriented. The room service has a nice blend of French, German, and American food. I ordered a little of all, and it was pretty good. Downside, they add 6 euro to the bill for no damn reason, but upside if it applies to you, you can use a VAT form. I can't but dinner in bed is priceless. They sell tram tickets at the front desk, and the line to get to the city center is around the corner. You could walk downtown if you want. It's close enough that I can see the Catherdral from my room. I found this room, maybe through Hilton's website? I forget, but I got it for 54 euro plus breakfast. I can see why, now that I'm here, that it's because Parliament isn't in session, and IT'S REALLY COLD RIGHT NOW. No tourists or politicians means cheap rooms for low season travellers. This is an example of where the staff pulls the rating two a three. Otherwise it would have been definitely much lower. Bartender ZouZou is amazing The detail, excellent, craft, Flair he puts into a cocktail is amazing. For the rest of the hotel it is clearly the worst Hilton I have ever experienced anywhere in the world. When I checked in to my room they said it was upgraded. Clearly only to to elite status floor. Not to the size or any other upgrade. The room was tiny, smelled of smoke and feet. I prefer no smoking rooms. Aside from that the hotel was this repair. Very worn carpeting. Spider in my bathtub. General shoddy your parents. For me the biggest benefit is they were across the street from the exhibit hall. That was a huge bonus. read more

I had Brunch there today with family and friends. Brunch starts at 12:30. We got there at 13:15. It seemed the staff was in a hurry to be done as food was being removed from the buffet right after 2 and while there were still many people eating. Scrambled eggs were cold, same for bacon and sausages. There weren't any Penne left at 2:00 and I had to ask the staff for more as it did not seem they had any plans to refill empty trays. Service was good though. All in all, having Brunch on Sundays there is still a good option for Strasbourg, although a bit disappointing today. Noteworthy : Brunch is free for children and there is a baby-sitter (no charge either) on site to look after children while you're eating . Today, the baby-sitter left without notifying us and we realized 30 mins later that our children were roaming free unsupervised inside the hotel! read more

This is a big Hilton. And like most of the Hilton's I stay at, it was very nice with excellent service. They had a really nice executive lounge on the ground floor for gold or diamond members that was stocked with all sorts of little French goodies to snack on and enough wine and beer to drink yourself silly. The location is about a 20 minute walk from the old downtown area of Strasbourg where the big church is along with lots of shops and fine restaurants. Fine business hotel often overrun with Euro politicians (when we got there, French Police and Mexican diplomatic vehicles were blocking the entry), cordial staff and very good relaxed breakfast in their restaurant. As a Diamond member we got upgraded to the Presidential suite (the same room Obama stayed in in 2009...so we slept in Obama's bed!), and the exec lounge seems to be always open with a number of goodies, also alcoholic, readily available. The Suite itself was less than half the size of other Hilton presidential suites I've stayed in (like Long Beach or Glendale) but well appointed, and this is France, the land of small hotel rooms. The shower was complicated with many different facets to it, had to be seen to be believed. Wish we could have stayed longer. read more
