This hotel is close to the cruise port and other scenic destinations easily walkable or take a pedicab! Typical Hilton reliable, clean, friendly. Our cruise company booked us in as part of a pre cruise package. Convience store 3 min walk away. Centraal station cube houses etc close. Big surprise with breakfast. Buffet breakfast was included. Holy moly! I feel like I'm been eating dog food in the USA and Canada compared to this. There are actual cooks making food vs people warming up stuff in bags. Huge selection of health foods. No rice crispies or foot loops here. Tons of different grains to add to you choice of different flavour Yougerts. Fresh made eggs and meats. Plus cold cuts cheeses 3 different breads you slice. Mind blowing. REAL white and brown sugar cubes. Can't remember when I last saw a sugar cube. Huge selection of everything. And get this a machine that on demand dispenses a perfect temperature pat of butter into a small dish. No more too cold plastic containers of butter that you can't spread or melted because you kept them in your pocket too long. Amazing. Service friendly. Beautiful. 5 stars to the buffet read more

Two night stay in early July 2025 prior to cruise. Great location; great bed (!); great staff; great piece of luck to get our room at 9am after arriving from airport; great staff throughout. The restaurant is exceptional and won't break the bank. Servers were helpful and on the ball. In particular, breakfast buffet was typical for a hotel but everything was presented very well and all was tasty. Dinner on two occasions consisted of baked cod, salad, fish and chips and their cheesburger. Food was fantastic for a location like this. I recommend this hotel without any reservation. I would definitely return. The only downside: Bathtub sides are very high. If you are not agile (!!!!!) you must get a room with a shower. read more

Hilton Rotterdam is one of my favourite Hilton properties I have stayed in, the hotel is grand and stunning, and the location couldn't be better, right in the centre of Rotterdam with many of the cities shops and restaurants nearby, not forgetting attractions from Stadhuis to Rotterdam Centraal Station. There is also an Albert Heijn and subway station within a two-minute walk of the hotel, great for grabbing essentials and continuing your journey around the city. All areas of the hotel seem grand and spacious, as I stayed in December 2022, they were putting up Christmas Trees in the lobby to give the place a more festive touch. Check-in was a smooth experience, I was able to check in via the app but had to stop by the front desk to do a few finishing touches, after informing the employee I did not have a credit card, he reduced the value of the card hold slightly so it wouldn't hurt my debit card too much. I always have to wait so long to get the card hold refunded in most hotels as the balance is reserved as a pending transaction for 30 days, but he actually charged it and refunded it straight away on check-out, meaning I got my money back a lot quicker. As a Diamond Hilton Honors Member, I felt very valued here, being given an upgrade to a King Junior Suite and having access to the Executive Lounge. The Executive Lounge was very good and included soft drinks, snacks and hot beverages during the day, with beer, wine and spirits available in the early evening. The Executive Lounge was comfortable and spacious and with the selection of drinks offered, and TVs, it's a great place to sit, whether you want to get some work done or just take a break in the day. I was really impressed with my room and the facilities offered, the room was spacious and modern and had everything I needed, including a large TV, Nespresso Coffee Machine, comfortable bed, mini fridge, good lighting and a great workspace - they even had multiple plug sockets including a plug socket that would take plugs from the EU, UK and US. The bathroom was also well stocked with toiletries and had a great standalone shower, while also having a separate bath, a nice approach as I like having the choice between the two. I like how they had a partition between the entrance to the room and the main area, this added some more noise-proofing, so the room was pretty much as quiet as a hotel gets, and there were no disturbances in terms of exterior/interior noise. My only problem with the room was the light switches, there were multiple light switches and it become a little confusing, especially with one of the lights next to the bed, controlling the night light in the bathroom, so it does take some getting used to. Breakfast is served until 10 am Monday to Friday and 10:45 am at weekends, which is pretty much average but the quality of the breakfast and the selection available was exceptional. The buffet had fried eggs and scrambled eggs, but you were able to request eggs anyway with the ordering sheet on the table. The food was all seasoned well and a great way to start the day, I especially liked the eggs, potatoes and the juicing machine, where you can make your own freshly juiced orange. The service in the hotel was very good, the staff members were very friendly and able to accommodate reasonable requests as well as offering advice on where to see and where to eat when in Rotterdam, which is a wonderful and underrated city. I can't fault the hotel by any means, you're not going to get a better location of a hotel in Rotterdam, while also considering the fantastic facilities, service, breakfast, Executive Lounge and other bits here and there, it's a faultless five-star experience and the perfect place to mark my milestone review number #4000! read more

I stayed at this place as part of a leadership conference for my company, it was a short decent walk to get to this place from Rotterdam Central station. We were over 80 people staying at this hotel & I can understand that it is difficult to accommodate everyone before normal check-in time & they did try their best, so I absolutely cannot complain about this place. The rooms were quite decent with nice bed & comfortable environment so no issues at all, also The toilet & bathroom was also well stocked & nice. In the mornings we had breakfast at the hotel & it was really nice, not something that is common around Europe. We were supposed to have dedicated wifi connection for us, but it really really bad. We were there for 3 days & there was not a single day we had proper wifi connection, this meant we cld not do our work at the hotel & had to do everything at our conference centre. Overall a decent place, expect wifi connection which was really bad & in this age that's a big sin. read more

Great burger, even by US standards. Better than regular Hillton food or most hotel food. Prices are Hilton prices, but don't be afraid to eat here at all. It's an expense account, right? They are renovating the hotel lobby right now. Some/most of the rooms are complete. Revovation is needed and well done. read more

Bottom line: I stay over 100 nights a year in Hilton properties worldwide and this is one of their top city hotels. The recently remodeled rooms are fresh and functional without losing the architectural flair that made this a mid-century landmark. The in-house restaurant offers a very high quality breakfast and some genuinely interesting and innovative cuisine for lunch or dinner. The executive lounge, for those who are able to indulge, is spacious, welcoming, and has a smallish high quality spread for both breakfast and Cocktail hour. The greatest asset of this property, however, is the staff. They are the epitome of professionalism whilst providing the warmth and extra effort with every interaction that makes the whole place function seamlessly. After a couple of business visits, I made a point of coming here on holiday and was rewarded by both the hotel and the city of Rotterdam. My highest recommendation for both. read more
