But the hotel has new owners now - an enthusiastic young couple who are really keen to make this business great. The new rooms are awesome, but unfortunately I had to have an older room this stay so I can only review based on that. The $10 breakfast deal is excellent value. When all the rooms are rennovated, this hotel will be superb. Well, fortunately for me I was still able to pop in for a drink, so as to mark off all of the pubs in Grafton as opposed to having one left there hanging like a loose end. I found this place rather pleasant though, particularly since the service was rather good, and they even had some nice beers on tap, which was sort of lacking in other places. A part of me thought that it may have been closed, but that turned out not the be the case, so I wandered inside. The first thing that struck me was how cool the bartender was, and the second was that they had a pretty awesome, and quite large, beer garden out the back with some really nice and comfortable couches. Actually, the pub itself had some really nice quite places for me to sit, so I'd have to say that I did quite like it.
