Visiting The Stashe in Fayetteville…read more While visiting the ring shop in Fayetteville, we stopped by The Stashe next door. We were in West Virginia with family and our dog, and were happy to see they offer a pup cup for dogs. I went with the Blue Panda after some deliberation, but also sampled the Dark Chocolate Raspberry--both were excellent. Portions are generous for the price, and even though my cup looked small, it was still a great bang for the buck. Here's what we had: * Pistachio (cone) * Blue Panda (cup) * Cappuccino Crunch (cup) * Pup Cup (for our dog) Every flavor was delicious, and we'd definitely come back when visiting Fayetteville and the surrounding West Virginia area.

Tasty ice cream in Fayetteville!…read more This shop shares a space/doubles as a restaurant ("The Take Out"). Parking is a little tight since it's downtown but we made it out okay. There's a little bit of outdoor seating and a few tables inside but it's mostly to-go. They serve Hershey's brand ice cream and have a large selection, including sugar free and dairy free options! The space is very cute and has lots of fun stickers/posters/decor. Service was fast and friendly! I wasn't wowed by the flavor selection -- it didn't super suit my preferences -- but we did come at the end of the day at the end of the week, so I certainly could've had better luck at a different time. We all wound up with Moose Tracks (vanilla base, fudge ribbon, peanut butter cups) and it was enjoyable, like all Moose Tracks! We were happy and it was a nice way to round out our time in WV. If you're looking for a treat, this is a good option!

We ordered a bagel sandwich with cheese and eggs, as well as a fluffy omelette, and both were incredibly delicious. It was the perfect quick breakfast to fuel us before a day full of adventurous hikes. The service was prompt and friendly, making us feel welcome. Our meals arrived warm and satisfying, with freshly brewed coffee that was rich and aromatic. The restaurant offered a variety of sweets and snacks, so we picked out a few to enjoy during our hike. The place itself was beautiful! Vibrant and colorful, with a cozy, inviting atmosphere that felt just like being in a home away from home.

We were seated immediately on a Friday at around 1pm. I love their vegetarian options but this is a place that assumes if you are a vegetarian, that you like and must have onions and mushrooms in every meal. I couldn't find much other than pancakes/pastries/sweet shit that didn't have onions and mushrooms but fortunately, they were able to accommodate my request for the tofu scramble without onions or mushrooms. GF ordered the vegetarian quesadilla with, you guessed it, onions and mushrooms (among other things). My tofu scramble was good but calling it a scramble is slightly misleading as it is actually tofu cubes albeit very crispy and tasty tofu cubes. This dish was probably potatoes. A few spinach leaves and maybe 1/100th of a pepper. I will concede to the fact that some of that volume might have been taken up by mushrooms and onions. The dish was very good regardless and the accompanying salsa added a really nice extra je ne sais quoi. I also really like the pay first and then leave whenever you want model to avoid being held hostage to bad service not to say that they would've provided bad service but it is a risk anywhere. Regarding GF's quesadilla which I did not have the pleasure of sampling bc of onions of mushrooms "I thought it was decent". When I asked if she had any details or specifics to add, she replied, "no".

Since then its been sold and remodeled into a business but in the same footprint as the original house when General Gaines lived there. The only thing that seems off is the decor and the music, neither match but who cares, right?! Its still really cool here! The food was good and my date and I had no complaints other than a tad salty but it was still good. Service was excellent. Parking is a a little weird but they have a golf cart to take you to your car if you wish. You aren't going to break the bank here and you are going to enjoy good food!!

My husband and I both shared the mini arancini, cheesy and flavorful , excellently presented . We both ordered specials. I had the lamb risotto. It was out of this world , delicious flavors, creamy and the lamb was perfectly cooked. My husband had the chicken Parm. He really enjoyed this. I also had their special spring drink. It was a lavender mimosa , so unique and delicious. Would definitely come here again.
