I have been several times for community events where they set up the booths. It has two stories, both overlooking glass windows out to the lake and a great back wrap around deck you can access. I could easily see this being a location for a beautiful wedding, a large conference or any kind of group setting you could think of. Being able to stay next-door at the hotel it's just an added bonus!

My company has also hosted several events here and the planning process from start to finish is phenomenal. Like I said, the staff is incredible and everything you need will be taken care of with a smile. The kitchen is great for catering events and the loading dock on the side makes it SUPER easy to get in and out with things like food for events or large displays, etc. The property is overlooking the lake and the view is great at sunset. Parking can get pretty tight for some events, but they always have a trolley that runs to/from extra parking at the park across the street. This is definitely a gem for the City of Granbury to have and the location next to the Hilton and just before you hit the Square is perfect for visitors to get to.

Pam and Scott are excellent hosts and will make your stay enjoyable. The Inn is a historic building and as such has a lot of charm, the grounds are well kept with the back of the property bordering the Paluxy river. Also at the back of the property overlooking the Paluxy is Snyder's Tavern where lunch, dinner and drinks are served. In the morning you'll get to enjoy breakfast in the dining room which is included in the cost of your stay. One thing to note is that the rooms do not feature TV's which was not a big deal to us. A comfortable bed and private bathroom should be mentioned. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

Inside did not disappoint, with lots of detail and open spaces for wedding ceremonies and receptions to be held. There is a "man cave" in the basement for the groomsmen and second floor space for the bride and her ladies. An elevator makes traveling between floors a cinch. There is a beautiful pool and ceremony room, which has a wall of glass that allows for views of the property, trees, and barn in the background. Reasons for not offering 5 stars would be the seemingly inexperienced and somewhat inattentive staff and the extremely cold reception space. Many guests were clearly cold (it was a wet winter day with cool temperature) and it felt quite chilly in the space. The staff were friendly however did not seem to go out of their way to check in with guests. You had to flag down the servers for a passed appetizer, instead of being offered one. Hopefully these issues can be improved upon to improve the guest experience and make the wedding couple feel pampered and stress free on their big day.

They opted to get married underneath this enormous oak tree, there are several other ceremony spots too. They have a lit area under the trees for cocktail hour and the reception took place inside the barn. It's everything you'd want in a barn wedding, wood details, barn doors, antique furniture. They have a bridal suite upstairs in the barn and a separate grooms house a little bit of a ways from the barn. It's a little bit out there in the middle of nowhere but it's worth the drive!
