    The fact they take walk-in's is the best part about this place, although depending on your luck you…read moremight not get seen the day you need to if they're busy. With that being said, I'm pretty upset about the last few years I've been taking my cat there. There was an improper heart condition diagnosis that I spent a ton of money on medication and having to go to a cardiologist to just find out it's only asthma. At one point when I was picking up medication, they even sent me home with the wrong stuff! Luckily I'm not an idiot and can read a prescription or else I could have severely hurt my cat giving her wrong medication and a lethal dose of what it was. They didn't even blink or care when I told them what they did, they just said sorry come back and get the right stuff. You can't rely on their online pharmacy, they're always out of stock. When my new vet contacted them for records, they couldn't even send those over for us after asking multiple times. Then once they sent something it wasn't even her medical records with x rays etc it was just when my appointments were. Overall unless you really need to get seen that day and can't get in somewhere else, avoid here.

Then they said before he gets another prescription he has to have bloodwork. We are on social security, can not afford. So i guess they would have let him die of seizures. He was on his 4th monthly prescription, not even six months. I was so angry. Then rabies month which you are suppose to get discounted rabie shot. I ask them how much rabies shot was, they said oh mam they free you just have to bring him in for an exam that was a hundred & something dollars. What they sre concerned about is money not the fur babies. But thats ok i have found him a sweet vet, non corporation, that is very concerned and reasonable cost for my baby. And prescription is much cheaper. A bit of advice for everyone , get a written prescription from them if you can cause you can get them much cheaper somewhere else . They preferred not to give me a written prescription. Im done and i will let everyone know how they are. Kay James

Anyone who lives here knows how hard it can be to find quality care, and that reality has been weighing heavy on me. I already had a stressful few weeks working through welcome season within the healthcare organization I work for, seeing firsthand how simple human errors can trickle down and impact people. Today, that stress collided with a very serious situation involving my dog's care. I felt completely hopeless. Every possible outcome ran through my mind, and I broke down. The level of care shown by the staff meant more to me than I can put into words. They didn't just treat me like a customer -- they genuinely cared and did everything they could to make things right and ensure my fur baby was taken care of. In a time when I was starting to believe good people and great customer care no longer existed, they proved me wrong. I will forever remember the two amazing men working at the Sango location that day. You brought me hope when I was losing it. I've never had a bad experience here. At every visit, they take the time to break everything down and explain it thoroughly. Even when my husband brings our dog in, they go above and beyond to educate him -- far beyond what most would consider "just part of the job." This place is rare. Compassion, education, accountability, and true care still exist here, and I am beyond grateful.

She stated we dont crop, and I had to restate I wanted posting not cropping. Nobody there would do it except for an "associate" what ever that means because she has a dobi. So I left in worse shape then when I walked in because I received 0 answers and time wasted

    I had been pretty pleased with the way Southside Vet Clinic took care of our dogs. But somewhere…read morealong the line, they just dropped the ball and never bothered to pick it up to run again. For instance: 1. It's REALLY rude to call the clinic only to hear the receptionist say, "Can you hold?" Then you're on hold for 5 minutes or so. But lately, as soon as they pick the phone up, they put you on hold. Surely they can't be THAT busy! Every freakin' time I call? Uh uh...I'm not buying it. 2. They didn't bother to send us cards letting us know that the dogs were due to get their rabies shots. I found out they were out of date when the groomer couldn't take them without an updated shot record. I called Southside to get the dates of their last rabies shots, and they had expired. I asked why we weren't informed about it. I had received no letter or postcard letting me know the shots were due. The receptionist's response: "Well, we try to send out timely notices but sometimes someone falls through the cracks. These docs are really pretty good. As I said above, I was pretty pleased with their care in the beginning. I don't know what happened, but I decided that I needed a more reliable veterinary provider. The front office people know ZERO about good customer service. It's too bad, because Southside is only a few miles from our home, so it's very convenient. I don't plan on returning to them unless and until they can show that their front-line workers, which are the face of any company, have been properly trained in providing world class customer service.
