Time passes by! The last time I was at this hotel was when I first left school and I haven't been…read morethere since...I don't know why! A meeting place for two parties on the spur of the moment. I said "Let's meet at the Bull and Bush Hotel!" What a pleasant surprise. The front of the hotel is glassed in which is a a great bistro offering a good range of reasonably, priced, large meals. The hotel was quite busy but we found a table for 7 and ordered our meals while the beer started flowing...then the wine. Bottles of house wine ranged from $20 -$25, and the blend was smooth and accompanied the meal very well. Then we had drinks in the courtyard after the meal. An excellent DJ was playing a good selection of hard rock music. The attire was tee shirts and shorts..and you had to be holding a schooner. Anyway what a lively place. Through to the back of the hotel a live band was playing and this was the third band that night. This is definitely a meeting place for the future.

I was then seated quickly. A good range of tap beers. The chicken burger tasted great. The ordering is great! Scan, pick what you want, order, apple pay, pick it up once you get a txt. Note parking can be difficult sometimes and confusing where the additional parking is located.

There was a guitarist perched on a chair elevated higher than the bar for "live" entertainment. There was plenty of staff but (and this is where I should bring the score of 3 stars down) not much doing in the form of clearing the tables and wiping them down. The staff barely wore their masks. About 50% of the people preparing and serving serving the meals wore masks. The fellow who appeared to be the head chief wore his under beard. There was a separate area for pizza and I could see that pizzas were a popular choice. Our food was OK. I would give the soft tacos a miss and the salmon could have been better. The pasta looked to be made elsewhere but seemed OK. I would go back there to have pizza and sit in the beer garden when it gets warmer...as long as this visit wasn't a super spreader event! I didn't mark them on their Covid safety as I just don't think they can police it. Not much point in making rules if they can't be enforced so just be informed.

Bathroom was spacious and spotless. We weren't there long but did have breakfast in the hotel restaurant and it was also really lovely.

This beautiful hotel was privately owned for man years. Finally it was sold a couple of years ago…read moreand modernised. Fronting Windsor Road, it reminds me of Dr Who's Tardis. It looks quite small but it is so large. The rooms are delightful and very comfortable. My daughter was coming down from the central Coast when she lost control of her car in the rain. She had to stay in Sydney as she had no way of getting back that night. I phoned and made a booking, they were so helpful and even though they were busy, they found a room from my daughter and her partner at 9pm at night. We celebrated my sister-in-law's 60th birthday at the hotel. The food was great, every course a winner. We had wonderful service, the staff were terrific. Now I go to the Spa at the hotel. It's in a separate building, right next to the swimming pool and it is really rather luxurious. They offer all sorts of things like body wraps and stone massages . The only problem is getting through to them. They don't have a separate receptionist so you have to leave a message. However, if you want to spoil yourself or a friend, there's nothing better.

The food menu has reduced significantly and the food just tastes just ok. Service was ok. A lot of kids running around causing havoc which is not my thing. They even have specials on Wednesday night (Rump Steak for $16) and Thursday night (Schnitzel $16). I've become a regular here!

Well, compared to it's namesake in Victoria, this one is much better. It has a pretty decent atmosphere, a lovely beer garden, and some pretty decent beers on tap, something that its namesake in Victoria is completely lacking.

The lunch menu was filled with many inviting choices, and there was a list of lunch specials available. Once we had ordered our meals, they seemed to take a very long time to be delivered to us, and weren't anything particularly special in relation to taste, nor price. They spent about 30 minutes looking for the other booking. Turns out it was a problem with the website we booked with. Anyways, after about 30 minutes of waiting around in the lobby, they just decided to send us to one of the rooms that we booked to wait instead. They told us that they would come up in 15 minutes to give us the keys to the other room. 45 minutes later...no one comes up. We call reception from the room phone, it somehow goes to another department and we had to be redirected ( aka the tags on the phone were wrong). They tell us they will come up shortly with the keys. Another 15 minutes later, we finally get the keys to the other room. A day later, the internet server dies. We call the reception and they say it will be fixed later that day. Later that day, it STILL is not fixed and then they tell us it will be fixed tomorrow. Tomorrow morning, it is still not fixed and they claim they are working on it. Later that night, it is FINALLY fixed. The facilities are pretty nice, rooms are quite spacious and I like how the office area is apart from the beds so one person can work while the other sleeps. They have a wide range of tv channels. Overall, the only issue I had with this hotel was the initial impression and the internet problem, otherwise, the rooms and other amenities are quite impressive.

I had breakfast every morning and it was always clean and full of choices. Internet speed was great. I didn't use the amenities but they do have a gym, business center and bar. I did have dinner at the bistro and YUM! My bed, pillows, etc were spotless. Only thing I didn't like was the bathrooms' configuration... it was too small. Being so far from the city, I wish they had an airport shuttle a couple times a day. I guess if you come here as a business visitor (there are plenty of business around the area), this is a good choice. PS: the manager and duty manager did make me feel special!
