I spent a long time looking for a church that was God centered and rightly guided and frankly while no church is perfect, this church was perfect for us. We help out with sound, lights and projection on the odd Sunday or we sit in the second row, feel free to come and visit and find my husband and I. I would love to do church with you and introduce you to my pastors Andy, Brian and Abel, who are some of the best spiritual leaders I have had the pleasure of meeting. If you want a church that is perfect, has all the best people, only sings the songs you like and gives sermons that won't offend you or challenge you then this is not the place for you.... However, if you want a place to come, where you will be welcomed and loved regardless of where you are at in your walk with God; if you want a place that will challenge you spiritually to be better, that will give you a place to connect with other believers and to worship with people who want to be here and want to just do life together; then this is the place for you. I was going through a difficult time personally, and the message of the morning really touched a note for me, bringing me to tears. Two other congregants, complete strangers to me at the time, sat on either side of me, holding my hands and offering me silent support. It meant more than words can say. Now, I'm the mother of two small children who attend classes in the Lighthouse, home to the RE program. They both love their experience there. My preschool son begs me to go to church! Thanks to the thoughtful curriculum, he is already becoming aware of what it means to be UU and is also becoming well-versed in the world's religions. My husband and I have found the minister, Rev. James Kubal-Komoto to be an inspiring leader, a thought-provoking teacher, an excellent speaker, and he possesses a great sense of humor to boot. While the church building may not be as gorgeous as some of the surrounding UU churches, it's the people that really make Saltwater a beautiful church. We have befriended some amazing people here and our spirits have grown immensely since we've joined the Saltwater community.

I love being a part of Stone Church in Auburn for so many reasons. I love that it exists to see…read morepeople all over the area understand who Jesus is, what he did for them, and how that impacts the rest of their life. I leave every week with a deeper understanding of the good news of God's grace and mercy toward me through the preaching of the Bible. Gods truth is so good and it brings so much freedom in our lives! Another reason I'm thankful for Stone is because of the authentic community that genuinely cares for one another. The relationships in the church are loving, kind, and sacrificial. It is a huge blessing to have friends that care for you not just on Sunday but throughout the week and in the trials of daily life. My young children enjoy Stone and have fun playing with friends and learning about how Gods love impacts their lives as well. Overall, it's an incredible joy to love God and love others in this expression of God's global church. Come check it out!

Everyone affiliated with the church seemed to be genuinely thrilled to be there and interact with each other. The kids' choirs were robust, full of talented, engaged kids, and entertaining. The church appears to have extensive facilities and staff volunteers for the kids' program and a vibrant program of activities for men, women, kids, seniors, etc. Easy to find with available parking. Huge main church room with great music amplification, lighting, and AV equipment. There's also a sort of fellowship hall/coffee room for post-service meet and greets, but we didn't stay for that part. Since this was a special presentation and service, I am not too aware of the specific focus or views of this church, pastor, and elders. But, from the get-go, I felt welcomed - very, very welcome. People were friendly, but not in a pushy, gushy kind of way. The service was great. The people were great. There was hot coffee after service and friendly conversation. I'll definitely be back.
