I rang him when I saw that he had a red Swan washing machine in stock but as Sheffield is over 300 miles away from where we live I wasn't really expecting to be able to obtain the item which I wasn't able to get down south where we live. I wasn't very au fait either with courier delivery services so when Kamran offered to help I was very grateful to him - especially in view of the fact that after I'd arranged delivery with one courier I realised I was going to be charged too much But Kamran, sourced another for me - arranged it & then ensured we were kept informed throughout the collection & delivery from a 5 star courier. The washing machine has now arrived & it's just what we wanted at a great price too. Kamran & the Appliance Centre just can't be faulted

To Sum Up: It Sells it all and for a reasonable price…read more Maplins is where i normally head to when i need some sort of electircal componant whether it be a transfere cable a power cord or a new companant for my pc. the deals that you find in maplins are not often beaten by any other high street name and you cannot beat there customer service, when i had three succesive failure with a bluetooth dongle they offered to upgrade to a better version without me having to pay the difference. they stock pretty much everything electronic from toys to pc parts to audio and lighting equipment. The staff are allways happy to help and will often lend advice and tell you about things that you didnt consider.

They now have a Dry Cleaning Machine on the premises which means that if I need something doing quick they can do it rather than a lot of places that take in the garment and send it to a central location and then having to wait a few days etc. They have regular dry cleaning offers eg 4 items for £18.00 etc. The whole shop is being done up and the staff are great- highly recomended

I have yet to be contacted by them with an apology or assurances of any sort. I think it may have stopped now but because I haven't heard anything I'm not sure. As most decent people know, bullying is wrong, and to do it in front of one's workplace to someone who is a potential customer seems particularly unwise. And the fact that it began before I was 18, and therefore a child being bullied by adults, it's just downright horrible.

Given how important this move was I even rang again to reconfirm. On the moving date he didn't show up and didn't ring us. When I politely got in touch he said the gearbox had gone and would call me back in 20 mins to give me an update... of course he never did this and then wouldn't answer his phone. We were very lucky to get help from HEELY LIGHT HAULAGE at very short notice (that same evening) - this friendly family run company I thoroughly recommend.
