Destini in the office is AMAZING and has been such a joy to work with over the past few months, getting everything situated. I moved from NW Columbus from a 1 bed, 1 bath to Bridgestone, where I am getting a 2 bed, 2 bath for much cheaper. Not only is the rent super affordable, but my apartment was just updated, so it is super nice! Being on the first floor, I was nervous about noise from my upstairs neighbors, but it hasn't been bad at all! In fact, I have had more neighbors introduce themselves to me and welcome me to the complex in the past week than I had my entire four years at my old apartment. In short, I am extremely pleased so far with my experience at Bridgestone Apartments. I can't wait to see how this new chapter in my life goes :-)

They then sold me a lease to a unit where the unit next door to a daycare. Six screaming toddlers play six feet from my window when the weather is nice. Worse, my upstairs neighbors throw 45 pounds over and over at the rafters morning, day, and night, above every room. I have cancer and need to sleep. I work at home but have lost clients because they can't hear me over the impacts. When I reported this to management, their answer was that this is normal use of the unit, but I could give them thousands of dollars and move to a different unit at my own expense. It's literally killing me, which I told them. The abuse of my unit continues, and I can't work or sleep. Don't move here. Management doesn't care about anything other than money.

The floors are this faux grey wood that looks hella classy against the carpet color selection. The spaces are well thought out. My friends have a 2 bedroom and ot feels really warm. Pick an apartment with a view if you can, or you maybe looking at the side of a building when you look outside. Its a good patio space though, I think I just prefer to have the woods at my back rathwr than a building. Its a really quiet place as well, im not sure whats with the building numbering system but it needs tweeking bad. If your not from there it's a pain tryin to figure out where your building nunber is. It doesn't seem like their on any order really? Also, perhaps a camera system outside would be helpful, just incase something happens in such a seemingly packed parking area. I really liked the bathroom though, very spacious and the modern look and feel is vsry nice.

In addition, she showed us the amenities and grounds that sets The Square at Latham Park apart from so many others. The apartment was very spacious, with many fine finishes, stainless steel appliances, cable, WiFi, security system and more, as well as an attached garage. Amenities were extraordinary, including a year round pool, gym, walking paths, and a very comfortable clubhouse complete with a Starbucks machine that provides freshly ground and brewed coffee on demand. In summary, the apartment home at The Square at Latham Park was a wonderful space, and the location was more of a community than an apartment complex.

Pricing: With all the amenities and very well managed snow, landscaping, and trash seems very reasonable. We both moved out during COVID. Both went in and cleaned post move out. Both knew with having two dogs deposit being refunded was unlikely, but we figured we would at least break even. Between the deposits, pet fees, and month extra pet fees. We paid a ton towards this $$$$... both dogs are over 8 years old and haven't been destructive in years. Spend their days just napping together. However, we received a notice that there was pet damage. We took photos when we moved out of the carpet and no visible damage was to be seen on any floor and no smells either. So we where a bit shocked. We question them this and they said the damage was visible underneath the carpet. In the pictures provided really only looked like water spots and could've really come from ANY unit on the property. Their policy is to not clean the carpet because it can pull up the stain or smell.... ummm HUH???? Say what??? Basically they damaged their OWN carpet in order to charge us the difference. Also every time during the almost two years of living there when ever anyone moved out they pulled the carpet.... saw this happen on the same unit for 3 different occupations. They made no offer to compromise on the carpet replacement amount. We paid on time and even moved out at least one week and turned keys ahead of said move out date--- all during COVID lock down. I do not recommend at all. Unless you are ok with that... its a safe neighborhood with great amenities with a very flexible dog policy (less restricted breeds)

Gorgeous tall windows, high planked ceilings and open floorplans would've ranked this a 5- but there's one thing that is just dumb. They only have one compactor for the whole complex. Sooo you have to drive your garbage there everyday. Yep - you have to put your garbage in your car and take it to the compactor. I asked management about this and was told they are trying to control rodents. I get it, but for a place as nice as this you would expect valet trash or something like that... soooo when i look out my gorgeous windows i always see the neighbors trash. Pretty lame. And on top of that they don't recycle.

I feel comfortable walking around the property, even in the middle of the night when our dog decides he needs to go out. - the dog park! Probably the #1 reason we moved here to be honest - our neighbors. Everyone who lives around us is friendly. No complaints about the noise around us. We can sometimes hear our neighbors closing their doors or moving on the other side of the wall. - the balcony was nice during the warmer months as we have never had outdoor space before. - the free coffee at the clubhouse is nice. - the gym. Adequate equipment and weights for a quick workout. Always very clean. - right next to the library. - after reading some other reviews I think we maybe lucked out with our location, as it is on the outer edge of the property so it's pretty quiet for us in terms of traffic and noise. We moved here in August of last year, in the middle of the pandemic so the only thing missing is the events! (Obviously not their fault). We did get to enjoy the Splash Bash for the pups. That was great! The office's response to COVID and the communications/actions taken have been great as well. The office staff is also super friendly everytime I go into the clubhouse. I really have no complaints/concerns about the community to date.
