My dad was here for a couple of years at first it was just OK but it deteriorated the place always smells the room smell. The they get all the clients in one room with a TV that's not working and they're all just staring at nothing. They said they had an activity Director, but we never saw him. The place continually went downhill. My dad had a nice clothes, all brand new clothes and furniture and whenever we went there, he wasn't wearing his clothes. They disappeared, even though we had his name on everything his expensive shoes disappeared. It just was not run. Well there was a man that hit him in the eye with a cane. Several incidents happen so they don't supervise very well. The people there the caretakers probably do the best they can, but there's just not enough to make it safe. I would never put my relative here if you want my honest opinion it's not worth saving the money. read more

I just want to give a SHOUT OUT to the Hillcrest Memory Care staff. I had brought in a cake for my mom's 96th birthday. They made it extra special at lunch time by bringing the cake out with candles and the staff came out to sing Happy Birthday to her. It was like a big party and I know my mom really appreciated it and so did I. They provide great care and the people there really care about the residents. I would like to leave a positive review for Hillcrest Memory Care. I placed my dad here a few months ago and I was having a tough time finding a place that would accept him as he is a tough case, and many places would not accept him. My dad is getting everything he needs here. Whenever I visit the facility is clean. The care staff keeps me updated and helps me to work with doctors navigate medication adjustments as needed. I have great respect for the staff here as they are always caring and polite considering what a tough job they do. read more

They are killing my grandmother. My grandmother who was functioning pretty well when we moved her in this facility in nov of 2019. She has since had multiple falls herself. Looks terrible when they do get around to having her FaceTime us since it is Covid. We have been in the process of moving her out of here but since she has tried harming herself to the point of being immobile we are unsure of what put next steps will be. The staff don't answer of call back families for days. Just all around terrible service. These are out loved ones we are trusting you with who have issues with memory and can't process like a healthy person and you have destroyed her! You need to be shut down! read more

ZERO stars. In 7 months we have experienced multiple "falls" resulting in injuries and ER visits. MULTIPLE episodes of scabies. An unexplained 50lb weightloss that doesn't concern anyone at the facility enough to have a conversation about with family and now BEDBUGS INFESTATION!!!!!! SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN. First of all I would like to THANK YOU to the staff at Hillcrest Memory Care,you were all awesome, my family really enjoyed and appreciated our time we spent visiting our sister, the building was always clean, and pleasant to come into we always got friendly and warm welcoming from the staff ,they handled their business and took such excellent care of the patients and our sister included we never had to complaint about the care of our sister ,they were all awesome workers .We miss coming to visit with our sister since her passing, but we know you guys at Hillcrest were there with along with my sister who was there. Our Cee January is gone, don't be surprised if one day you look up and see us coming with the Grandkids again, you all showed them kindness and love, We saw it, we miss you all and Thank you so much for the care of Cee and us. I have had my parents at Hillcrest Memory Care since 2017 due to Alzheimer's. We lost my father in 2020 but my mother is still there. Hillcrest provided the freedom of movement around the grounds inside and out that suited my parent's quality of life style. As with any business I have seen Hillcrest go thru its ups and downs for sure with leadership and staff, but they were able to keep Covid away from the residents longer than any of the other care centers around. I can honestly say the current staff has been weeded thru and hand picked for their compassion, work ethic, and heart for service of others. It's a heartbreaking, tough job and they deserve all the kudos I can possibly give them. My mother can be a handful at times, especially when she sundowns, but I have walked in unexpectedly multiple times catching staff holding her hand, soothing and comforting her which is a great relief to me. read more

This place should be shut down. Kaiser suggested we place our mom there. Within a week she fell and broke her tailbone. Within 3 months she had a black eye, and big black and red bruises between her legs, lost 40 pounds, and had two fights. I saw an employee kissing with a patient . I told the director and she did nothing. The food is atrocious. Flies make their home in each room and light on my mom when she tries to sleep . The employees don't even need to have a CNA License but they claim to specialize in memory care. They don't have bedside manners and I truly believe they were hitting my mother. She finally got tired of it and and started to rebel. The medicine is not distributed in a timely manner. If the patient is sleep o well they don't care if the meds is for high blood pressure. They let them sleep so they don't have to take care of them. Last but not least. They stole my mom wigs shoes books remotes twice, and panties ,socks,, bras.they blame every thing on the patient's. I believe they are evil. Karma is real and they will reap what they sow. I have used every bit of restraints in myself not to do something to them . But I am smarter and wiser. They are being sued for abuse, Hippa violations, sexual abuse, and felony theft. Ombudsman stated that this place is horrible as well. I have called so many abuse hotlines,adult protective services,and lawyersThis place will be shut down soon.Kaiser permanente should be ashamed of themselves for recommending such a horrendous place for its patients.
