After about a month long stay at the hospital, I chose Complete Care ar Harston Hall for my mother's care and rehabilitation. From the first meeting at the hospital, we were treated like family. John and Tammy did everything to make it a comfortable transition. The nursing staff were friendly and that took very good care of mom while she was there. The facility was always clean when I came in. (Everyday) If you're looking for a place for yourself or a relative, I would recommend you check this place out for yourself. I'm looking to send mom back for respite care in the near future.

The Patients couldnt of been in worst shape...people with missing limbs and have compketely lost their minds. there was no support or love or anything for that matter from ANY of the staff. i have never been so horrified in my life (worse that the WORST horror movie you ever saw). i know this is a state line facility and i shouldn't have anticipated much, but wow! is this really how our country takes care of us at the end?! the place is so bad, i would say people in prison are getting a better deal or maybe even a dog kennel. i wouldnt even bring my dog there to WALK AROUND! it really makes you think about the things you want for your loved ones as they reach a ceartin point. its a VERY harsh reality. so people...work hard!, take care of yoir loved ones...MAKE SURE THEY NEVER END UP HERE!!!! The facility itself is a physical disaster. ZERO working lights in a bathroom used by three patients! I literally had to use my cell phone to see in the dark and I was at risk of falling due to my condition. The folks there were all in much more need for care than I was. Many were aphasia, or suffered dementia. After 3 days, I could not take it anymore so I discharged myself "Against Medical Advice". I left with my daughter, a registered nurse, who had tried talking me into staying. The Administrator said she was sorry to hear my decision, but to give Ivy Hill a good YELP review. I did not plan on any YELP review...until they accused my family of elder abuse! This was a SLANDER against the people who love me dearly and now I am thinking of suing. Extremely bad place. I just want to commend her for being professional and also just being human and trying to help with this situation. We were told everything was being put into storage until it was safe to get it. My mother specifically told them to make sure all the framed artwork from her room was taken off the walls as my grandmother had painted the pieces. When my mom was finally allowed to pick up her belongings she was given 4 bags of clothes and a couple photographs in frames. Where is all her art? Where are her knick knacks? Where is her television? Where is all her furniture? It seems noone knows. The social worker, Courtney Nicolosso, won't return any of our family's calls. Jose, who was in charge of emptying her room, referred us to the cleaning girl, Tamekah Cooper. She claims she didn't clean out the room. She was supposed to check the storage room again but never bothered calling back with the results. Nobody is accepting responsibility or willing to help. There are a lot of places to get care for your loved ones. Do yourself and your family a favor and don't pick this one.

No bathroom in the room; only a toilet and sink with a curtain to pull for privacy. My friend recovering my serious surgery, was not helped to shower for the first two weeks he was there.
