Whatever you do, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT send your loved ones here. This place needs to be investigated immediately and shut down. The only good people are the social workers andres, a few of the desk nurses on the 2nd floor, the main office lady with the short hair and the front desk ladies they were great but other than that they should all be fired. No bathroom in the room; only a toilet and sink with a curtain to pull for privacy. My friend recovering my serious surgery, was not helped to shower for the first two weeks he was there. Another night he asked for a pillow under his knees and was told, "I'll see if I can find one", and the aide never returned. She also dropped the call button on the floor so he could not reach it and call for help. He was in pain all night until someone came in at 5:00 a.m. and got him a pillow. He developed a bed sore that they originally identified as such, but then tried to cover it up by saying it was "an abrasion". He was promised at my suggestion, to walk 2x/day, but most of the time that did not happen. One Sunday an aide walked w/him in the a.m., but when he asked again in the afternoon, he was told "I walked with you this morning. I'm too busy now and can't do it." I walked by the nurses' station 2 minutes later and found him sitting there doing nothing! Cleanliness is non-existent. Dirty clothes/underwear was put in a drawer with clean and I had to take everything home to wash it. One day someone came in to "clean" the toilet and I watched her clean the toilet bowl with a brush and then proceed to "clean" the top of the toilet seat with the same dirty brush!! Disgusting!!! Some of the people are pleasant, but others are downright nasty and act like they're doing you a favor. They're getting paid to provide patient care and if they don't like it, they should not be there. This place was a huge disappointment to say the least!

Now, the only issue involves transportation. There's a push to construct another parking area (or otherwise provide more parking). Being the professional that I am I did my due diligence in finding out all I could about the company to prepare for my interview. I conducted my first interview and was asked to come back and meet with the residents and some of the other managers. I completed this interview process as well. Not getting to the job is not why I am writing this. I am writing this because wesley @ Upper Moreland feels that they do not have to show any respect to those that have interviewed. After more than a week after the final interview with their residents and management staff , I received no kind of follow up email. I also reached out to the h.R department with a very nice voicemail , which was ignored. I also reached out to them via email, ignored as well. Wesley has yet to contact me with a simple paragraph just letting me know that they selected another candidate. That would be showing respect to the people that they have interview. It's so disheartening when you go through the whole interview process and the company thinks so little of the people that they interviewed that they cannot continue to communicate with them with a simple rejection email. After you run up and down the highway to satisfy their interview process and to see that the company that you wanted to work for is so unprofessional with the way that they handle their employment process. They say they equal opportunity employer, at this point , i'm going to go there , they're not. How can you be an equal opportunity employer when you can't even show respect for a person that is in need of a job. So I doubt if they respect people of a different demographic. I know that this has become a practice of jobs to ghost you instead of contacting you. Such unprofessionalism , from wesley to indulge in such a practice. I should've known as I visited the property twice in real that all of their upper staff is white there was no place for a black professional at wesley. Shame on wesley. Wesley upper moreland..... Has no respect for the people that they interview if they have not selected you for the position.

The Patients couldnt of been in worst shape...people with missing limbs and have compketely lost their minds. there was no support or love or anything for that matter from ANY of the staff. i have never been so horrified in my life (worse that the WORST horror movie you ever saw). i know this is a state line facility and i shouldn't have anticipated much, but wow! is this really how our country takes care of us at the end?! the place is so bad, i would say people in prison are getting a better deal or maybe even a dog kennel. i wouldnt even bring my dog there to WALK AROUND! it really makes you think about the things you want for your loved ones as they reach a ceartin point. its a VERY harsh reality. so people...work hard!, take care of yoir loved ones...MAKE SURE THEY NEVER END UP HERE!!!! She was admitted for physical therapy following an injury that required hospitalization, and the goal of a rehabilitation center is to provide quality care that supports recovery as quickly and safely as possible. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. During her stay, I never once met with a doctor or nurse who provided updates on her condition. The majority of the staff appeared irritated and unapproachable when questions were asked or assistance was requested, which is extremely concerning in a healthcare setting. If patient care is truly the priority, the staff clearly need retraining in professionalism, compassion, and communication. It is deeply upsetting to witness how patients who rely on state or government benefits appear to be treated. No one deserves substandard care. Additionally, the condition of the facility itself is unacceptable. The building and rooms are in serious need of renovation paint is chipping, floors are dirty, and the physical therapy room is outdated and lacking proper equipment and materials. For a for-profit facility, more investment should be put back into maintaining the building, updating equipment, and most importantly ensuring patients receive respectful and attentive care. I would estimate that 95% of the care provided was unacceptable. The only positives were that the physical therapy itself was adequate and the food was edible.
