They know how to attack each obstacle to provide a high level of adventure while doing it safely. All of the staff were well educated and friendly. They all had an amazing general knowledge of botany, zoology, geography, and natural history. If an individual guide could not answer your question, they were quick to research it in their extensive library or consult other guides. Just that Ponderosa exceeded expectations. 5 stars. Especially with the miles of beautiful ponderosa pine tree nice trails and bike trails. But mosquitos there now in July. Update: I hear stinkin rap. Stop that nasty stuff. Anyway, this is not a place I would return, sad as it sounds. It's just not that great.

They are dialed and it shows! Great mix of options with something for everyone. We did a combination of relaxing on the beaches, swimming, fishing, and hiking. During the day, some of us stayed in the rafts with the guides and others ventured out in inflatable kayaks. This was a first whitewater experience for some of our group and they felt very safe and gained a ton of skills! The food was excellent too -- how often does someone cook you salmon and pineapple upside down cake while you sit in the river?! 10/10 would recommend.
