Brandy is so sweet and always does a great job cleaning my teeth. I drive from Eagle just to see them and will continue to do so. California traffic won't stop me from going to this office. I thought I had done a review already. Maybe it never got past the draft stage LOL…read more Dr. Asay's office was recommended to me when we moved back to Idaho. It's where family members have been going and it helped that their office was right down the road from my children school. So they could walk into an appointment after school and I could meet them there from work. It is a bit of the pain that they're only open Monday through Thursday but usually that's not a problem. It's more just that I'm a little forgetful and forget to call them sometimes when they're open. As my children have gotten older I want them to be more mindful to communicate with me about what happened when I wasn't there yet. I appreciate that my children are older and can tell me the gist of it themselves but I want the staff to be more communicative with me directly. I don't want the risk of like in the "telephone" game ha ha. There was an instance when I had a crown done and there was some miscommunication, I felt, about the projected cost versus the actual cost and when I brought it up to them they were understanding and they worked with me.

My thanks to them cannot be overstated. I would refer anyone who requires a dental procedure to this practice.

That being said, their hours of service are not working-person friendly. If you need a crown or some other major work, you will need to take time off from work because they don't have the correct staffing to perform these services after 2PM. I took time off from work for a 2:30 appointment for a permanent crown seating and received a call to reschedule for some excuse (I don't even remember what) but it pushed the appointment out well over a week. As a result my employer is frustrated, I am frustrated, and the person on the other end of the phone is completely oblivious to the fact that not everyone has unlimited time off. I am currently seeking a more user-friendly dentist.

Feels like my tooth, amazing. But, every appointment I made resulted in sitting in the pleasant lobby with others that were booked for the same time, I always waited an hour or more. Not sure why they make appointments and then book many at the same time. VERY EXPENSIVE. They would not use the crown that fell out, had to start from scratch with the most extensive set of x -rays I've ever had for my teeth, a build up (temp), then the fabulous crown. I booked it as as urgent, but it was not treated with any urgency, at all. I sat with a billing person to discuss cost and schedules, hat to make two large payments, but thought I was done with it and then weeks later I got yet another bill for the x-rays, that was not mentioned as being separate. They quoted me a separate price for a crown that was the last step in an implant from another state, they wanted over $2,000. So, although I love them personally, I will not be going back and nor do I recommend them to anyone that is not full of money and in no hurry.

The receptionist demanded I tell her what the diagnosis was from the other two dentist and when I refused to tell her and said I just want a third professional opinion I even have his x rays she demanded I tell her what dentist I took him to for the diagnosis. My question is why exactly she needed and demanded that information from me? Because if she was going to try to get my son's diagnosis from the other dentist, that is a HIPPA violation. Anyway after arguing with her for over 20 minutes I gave up and told her this dentist no longer works for us. They had no business knowing what the other diagnosis were if I was coming in for a new diagnosis.
