I found this place and went here ONLY because of Isabel N's review below, and the info she emailed…read moreme directly on here, and I am so glad I did. (THANK YOU ISABEL!) It's a teaching hospital, so the decor is all very basic, but you get the ABSOLUTE BEST dental care. And at a SERIOUS discount. I've been to the Zuckerberg dentist in Dobb's Ferry ($$$$$$ expensive!) where people go just because of the connection to Facebook, assuming that it's the best (when it's actually quite the opposite) and this was 1,000,000 times more professional, better work, and seriously less money. I cannot recommend this place enough.

my mother received from Rachel C. Talley-Bruns, MD during her follow-up appointment today. I am…read morerequesting that this matter be reviewed immediately by the appropriate clinical and administrative leadership. My mother was seen in the emergency room on Sunday for debilitating pain radiating down to her forearm. She is in her 70s, and my father, who accompanied her, is in his 80s. Her appointment was originally scheduled for 4:00 PM, but your office requested that they come in earlier, at 2:00 PM, to accommodate the provider's schedule. They complied with that request. Despite coming in earlier as requested, the care my mother received from Dr. Talley-Bruns was unacceptable and fell below the level of care that should be expected for an elderly patient experiencing severe pain. The appointment appeared rushed. Dr. Talley-Bruns did not take the time to properly assess my mother's pain management needs. She did not ask what had been helping, what had not been helping, what medications had been tried in the past, or what had previously been ineffective. Had those basic and necessary questions been asked, she would have known that Motrin was not effectively managing my mother's pain and that the medication reordered had already proven ineffective in the past. Dr. Talley-Bruns stated that medication would be sent to the pharmacy. However, although the appointment was at 2:00 PM, the medication was not sent until after the pharmacy had closed. This delay left my elderly mother in severe, uncontrolled pain without a meaningful plan in place. The suggestion to use Motrin if the pharmacy was closed was inadequate, especially because Motrin had already been ineffective. Dr. Talley-Bruns would have known this had she taken the time to ask. This was not a minor oversight. My mother was crying on the phone because of her pain. No family should have to hear their elderly parent suffering like that after attending a follow-up appointment that was supposed to address the issue. My sister and I both work in healthcare, and thankfully we were able to help figure something out, but that should not have been necessary. I had just completed a 13-hour shift, and instead of being able to trust that my mother's medical needs had been properly addressed, I had to intervene because of a breakdown in care. I am especially disturbed by the lack of urgency. If Dr. Talley-Bruns knew medication was needed, it should have been sent immediately, particularly given my mother's age, the severity of her pain, and the fact that pharmacies have closing times. I know providers who send prescriptions promptly in situations like this because they understand the consequences of delay. That did not happen here. I am also raising a serious concern regarding racial bias in pain management. This is not an abstract issue. The Harvard Global Health Institute article, "Racial bias in medicine," discusses the long-standing impact of race-based myths in medical care, including false beliefs that African American patients are more tolerant of pain and the resulting undertreatment of Black patients' pain. Whether or not bias was intended in this situation, the impact was that my mother's pain was not treated with the seriousness, urgency, or thorough assessment it deserved. My parents adjusted their schedule and came earlier at your office's request. In return, my mother received rushed, inadequate care and was left without timely access to medication. This is unacceptable
