Everyone there did such an excellent job, helping me get back home safely and took such good care of me. I can't express my gratitude enough. After meals, residents are often left waiting to use the bathroom. I have seen residents have accidents while waiting. It is sad and undignified, and residents deserve better. In my experience, the main doctor is not personable. He often does not make eye contact and comes across as dismissive when residents raise concerns. I have also witnessed him speak disrespectfully to family members who were simply advocating for their loved ones. Families should be able to ask questions and express concerns without being treated that way. I have witnessed physical altercations between residents that raised serious concerns about safety. Seeing these situations happen left me questioning whether enough was being done to prevent them and protect everyone involved. I feel for the staff who are working hard with seemingly limited resources and support. I rarely see management on the floors helping. They are more often in their offices or on the phone while staff handle the daily challenges. Based on what I have personally seen, I would not recommend this facility. In my opinion, it is poorly managed, and it is frustrating to see these problems continue. I feel for the residents who live there and the staff doing their best to care for them. Residents deserve dignity, safety, and respectful care, and staff deserve the support to provide it. I'd give this place no stars but felt that two stars are adequate for the staff that work on the floor and are clearly busting their butts to provide the best care they can.
