Most people don't crow about getting a crown, but the experience I had yesterday could not have been better. Isabelle escorted me in to the chair exactly at my appointment time. She thoughtfully walked me through the process, clearly and carefully explaining each step from x-ray to fitting the temporary. Dr. Chris came in and, I'M NOT KIDDING, painlessly numbed me up before doing the drilling. The team carefully selected a tooth color for my crown that would blend in with my other teeth. After talking to him for about 15minutes about my experience with the reception staff, he offered me a refund for my fee. Because I VERY much LOVE the doctors and hygienists at this clinic I have decided to return to them for another try. I was very impressed that the Dr. himself gave me a call and spoke with me for quite a while. He even offered to give me his personal phone number if I had any issues in the future. He was understanding and empathetic to the situation. I hope my relationship with them continues in this direction. So happy with how this turned out.

X-ray tech was new or possibly a trainee , took along time to get xrays, as he kept retaking the xrays to get the right views. It was painful as he kept pinching and scratching my mouth with the film. Dr Boykin was nice, and Katie the dental hygienist was great, so I made an appointment for my son for teeth cleaning and they changed his appointment the day before without calling, only text message and said if I can't adjust my schedule I couldn't get my son in for another cleaning appt for at least another month. Appointment setter said they always have schedule changes last minute so please keep that in mind when booking with their office. After that I decided this office isn't for me. Dr. Nick talked me through everything, told stories the whole time, and honestly distracted me like a pro magician. I was referred, and went to Dr. Keshav at Ramona Main Street Dental and it was a completely different story. Dr. Keshav did what all my other dentists haven't done and he and his staff (yes, his staff) took the time to talk to me about my fears; and together we realized that it takes longer for me to go numb than it would for a usual patient - which is why I had pain before. I felt like someone was actually listening to what I had to say. Once we figured that out, I no longer had pain during my procedures. I cannot tell you what a huge difference this had made for me and getting dental care. I really do encourage anyone who has any, and I mean any fears or concerns about having dental work done should talk to Dr. Keshav. It never hurts to talk. The front office is great too, very personable. Everything gets spelled out and there are no "surprise" charges. The staff was great nice, friendly, etc…read more My dental experience was not that great I lost two teeth because the dentist 1. did the wrong procedure ( he did what was expensive but not what I wanted or needed). 2. He over processed the teeth. ( I had post treatment pain and discomfort). I went back a few times but it was just not right. I finally went elsewhere and that dentist said my teeth were filed down to much and there was no solution. I was given two options. Try a root canal with crowns and hope for the best or extract them and try posts or dentures. I learned CA really doesn't have a program that oversees dental issues/mistakes. I was told only investigate if someone dies do to faulty dental work.
