Bow Wow Beauty Shop

Bow Wow Beauty Shop

Unfortunately, my experience with Bow Wow Beauty Shop has been quite different from the previous…read morereviewer's. I have taken my Beagle mix here three times for a bath and nail clipping. The price would constantly fluctuate, depending on how much the owner "felt" like charging that day for the same services provided a couple months earlier. In addition, the manner in which my dog was treated was nowhere near professional. She is very easily frightened due to an unknown traumatic incident that occurred before we adopted her, but Bow Wow's owner did not seem to care. Usually, my dog LOVES people, but for some reason, she did not want to go anywhere near the lady at our initial appointment. I figured she was just anxious and so I didn't give it much thought, but then I started to see how the owner's demeanor demonstrated a complete lack of interest in the animals. She speaks to them angrily, even when they are clearly scared, and tends to prefer force instead of tough love when getting the job done. After giving this place a few chances - because hey, maybe the lady was just having a bad day or two - I realized that this is just the way that Bow Wow operates. I began taking my dog to a different groomer, one who is located a little farther away, but maintains consistent pricing and greater respect for the animals and their owners, and I couldn't be happier with my decision.

Kaddy made the process seamless and I'm sure our puppy was not the easiest to cut. We have been back a few times since and always have a great experience. Highly recommended!

I'm writing this review as a warning and I wish someone would have done this much sooner. I lost my…read morecat one year ago, by sheer luck I found him again. While getting everything together to trap him he had become injured, unfortunately because of his injury he didn't return to the spot where he had been originally discovered. In a panic I started calling everyone I could think of and I eventually called Tyco and found out that someone else had found my cat and called Tyco they would not let me know where he had been seen.I let them know what my intentions were and that I wanted to help the cat at any cost. I sent them pictures of my cat and asked them to please call as soon as they find him. After two days I heard nothing so I called them only to find out that, not only did they find him and not call me but that they killed my cat because he was very sick. I'm sure I don't need to explain how devastated I am or how upset the kid who was set to receive this cat as his first pet was after being informed of what happened. The people at this company are dishonest and grossly immoral. I told five people who live in my neighborhood what happened and the first thing they all said was your cat didn't stand a chance. If you value the life of other sentient creatures don't call this company. One star only because they don't have a negative value to select from.
