Purchased some lightbulbs from a promotion bin in the Sheffield IKEA clearly priced at £0:10 each…read more checking my recipe at home later noticed they had changed me £1:50 each. I bought 10 so was overcharged £14:00. I contacted IKEA customer service department who were not bothered and even asked if I had taken a photo of the price on the light bulbs (who would) IKEA customer service said there is nothing they can do and said go to the Sheffield store customer service desk and see if they could help, what is the point of having a customer service department if they will not help, it would cost £10 in petrol to go to Sheffield for an argument with there customer services, and not prepared to lose any more money, this is a case for trading standards and will be looking at getting them involved

Marks & Spencer in Sheffield is one of the larger shops in the city centre of the South Yorkshire…read morecity, it is located on Fargate over multiple floors and is one of two major locations the brand has within a small radius in Sheffield, the other of course being one of the flagship stores at Meadowhall. This store just lacks compared to its' nearby store of the same brand, it feels less modern and in some ways, the stock feels depleted, especially in the Food Hall, the whole range lacked with so many food items out of stock. The staff did seem friendly enough, and the Food Hall did have a nicer feel to it, compared to the rest of the store, with the only major flaw being the "out of stock" signs everywhere. A decent, large store in the department store chain nonetheless, and not terrible by any means, but certainly leaves many factors for improvement. It is, however, a nice brand to have in the city centre of Sheffield, which already lacks towards Meadowhall and I feel the city would be a lot worse off without this store. 3*

This town centre M&S seems to have a better food stocking policy than its neighbouring Meadowhall…read morestore and has all the key items from all the clothing collections. The staff are always helpful and chatty but two things make it only three stars for me. One is that the store is always blisteringly and uncomfortably warm, especially on the upper floors. And secondly, there's the toilets. As one of very few public toilets left in town, they are always left in a right state and stink to high heaven.
