There's 2 matalan stores in nottingham city this one in bulwell and the other in chilwell. Bulwell is the smaller of the two but is still a big store with a wide range of products. Kids fashion, mens womens and the home store they have regular sales they are pretty good with queues, changing rooms, obviously be weary near busy times such as christmas, they have regular deliveries so their not often out of stock and they have plenty of sales and special offers throughout the year at great prices. read more

I love Matalan! When they are having a good day, there are so many stylish, well made clothes to choose from, I end up going to the changing rooms loaded with clothes. Their accesories are great too. If you go at the end of a season, before new stock, there isn't as much to choose from. read more

I've been going to Matalan since it first opened as a bit of a bargain basement back in the day. It has thankfully upped it's game over the past couple of years and now has a great selection of womenswear, menswear, home stuff and gorgeous shoes! I love the shoes in particular as they are such good value for money and I've had quite a few from there and they have lasted many a wear well! The Bulwell Matalan is slightly smaller than the Chilwell one and they have less choice but, as I noticed the other day, many items are actually cheaper in Bulwell than Chilwell! This Matalan has to be one of the better ones in this area, you dont have to shop off the floor, clothes can be found on the racks. This one is located near to a large morrisons which is handy if you need to pop to both. It has a wide selection of clothes and homewares. You always seem to be able to find what you are looking for or a helpful staff member is never too far away to be able to offer assistance. Overall a clean well organised shop that has value products. read more
