There's a collage bar that one friend used for scrapbooking. They purchased some kits including a Crosstitch kit, embroidery kit, and hand sewing kit. Painting kits were also available. All extra supplies that you might need are provided. One criticism is it was on the pricey side but worth it for the activity, and nothing unreasonable. The person who I believe was the owner was VERY helpful in all aspects! In terms of snacks, they have hot tea available or some canned drinks and chips for purchase. It was a lot of fun and music to set a great vibe.

Several different options from covers, lined, unlined, dotted, smaller/closer lines vs more widely ruled.... I have tiny handwriting, especially with my better, more fine tipped pens I prefer to journal with, so finding a closely ruled journal I like isn't always easy. The wrapping paper options were also lovely, and the selection of items around the shop for not only journaling and book themed things was great, unusual but often undervalued items. My friend finally found more reusable makeup rounds, complete with their own storage bag, after she's been looking for a few months to replace the ones she's had and used for years but are starting to show some definite wear. The cashier and person assisting with stocking were both friendly and helpful without being pushy/overly involved (ALWAYS appreciated as an introvert!). I found not only the perfect journal for my preferences but also picked up a small craft project and both were very fair in price.

They had…read morea really big selection of art supplies and it was so refreshing to walk in to a real mom and Pop art store, And they've been here for over 30 years! They had a lot of different types of premium paints including oil paint, acrylic paint and watercolor paint, and others. Also many different types of premium and economy paintbrushes many varieties and brands. And the owner came and helped me. She was explaining to me all the different paintbrushes, and I felt so happy that she cared that much to help me find what I was looking for. They also have pan pastels which you don't find in stores very much And a really big selection. Also different types of water colors. They had pigment powders, gold leaf, alcohol inks, markers section, clays . They also had a nice selection of canvases with different sizes. So one of the reasons I came because I heard they gave classes here, which is very exciting, you can definitely tell this is a place where the community comes and talks about art and enjoys other artist company. Because everybody that worked there was so helpful and friendly and very warm and welcoming. I'll definitely come back again when I'm in the area!

I have been scrapbooking since I was probably twelve years old. Of course, over the years, my…read morestyle has greatly changed and when looking back I laugh at my early pages. Back then or even twenty years ago it was no surprise to find an actual scrapbook store throughout many cities. Sadly, now, it is almost impossible to find brick and mortar store. I believe when I moved down to Florida 18 years ago there were 3 stores that I frequented often and now, only Scraporium is left. When I am in the Carrollwood or Lutz area , I always stop in if it's during business hours to see what they have added to the store or if there is anything that I must have. The ladies that work, there are always so nice and polite and willing to help find anything that you may be looking for that.They have as the store is very packful of various goodies. I truly hope they are successful enough to remain open for years to come.

Some things were a good price and some things were higher than average. But the fact that it's a small and local place made me comfortable paying a premium. There was a woman when we walked in that acknowledged us but we weren't sure if she was a manager or just a customer. When we went to pay, we were second in line and the lady at the cash register (I assume owner) disappeared without saying a word after she helped the people in front of us. Not sure what happened but we waited several minutes before we could check out. No other customers were in the store at the time. I'll be back, though :)

There is such an eclectic array of items offered here from jewelry to antique furnishings. The sales associate working today was very polite and helpful, especially since I was being high maintenance and wanted the item off the mannequin. I purchased a beautiful sarong that I plan to use during my upcoming trip to Cuba. White Owl Market's slogan is: "Never the same store twice." I can't wait to visit them the next time I am in DTSP to see what else they have in store for me.
