This boutique has some of the best and most unique locally sourced jewelry. I have also found some beautiful items that I gifted. It's a great little shop and I visit anytime I visit St Petersburg. Great customer service also! read more

Shapiro's - Jewelry selection - Art Galleries Near Me - Saint Petersburg, Florida

They have a wonderful selection of American crafts. Whenever we're on Beach Drive we always take a walk through and often walk out with something. We recently bought a gift for a friend and they did a fantastic gift wrap! read more

Really nicely curated and thoughtful collection of jewelry and assorted gift items. I enjoy supporting small family businesses. This store is also open later on Fridays and Saturdays. They carry everything made in America, made by a wide array of designers. They also offer complimentary gift wrap, which is such a convenient and nice touch. Very good, friendly customer service too. If you're looking for something unique, come here! read more

I have purchased items from here in the past. It is a cute shop and the the staff are always super friendly.

A must go when you're looking for gifts or art for your home. This place is filled with beautiful art. You aren't going to find any cheap trinkets here, but that doesn't mean that everything is super expensive either. I once bought my mom a hanging Albert Einstein quote and it was around $25. One of my favorite areas of the store is their Jewish paraphernalia. They have some absolutely stunning menorahs. A lot of these items would make great wedding gifts! There are other areas of the store that are dedicated to jewelry and art. The owners do a great job curating to make sure everything is exquisite. This shop is on Beach Drive so if you're looking for a good day, eat at a nearby restaurant, walk up and down Beach Drive, and stop inside this store. You won't be disappointed. read more

cool gallery with a lot of different ideas well laid out too. the place has a good flow and a lot of walk in traffic. It is a bit pricey but the stuff in here is pretty cool we got some cool stuff for the kitchen but for the price I dont think food will ever grace it lol great for browsing if your in downtown St Pete read more

This place is very cute! They have a lot of blown glasses, wooden boxes, jewerlies, and very very cool metal sculptures. The metal sculptures are must see! Their products are comtemporary and have rather youger taste I would say. I am not all that into musium and art crafts etc. But still I enjoyed very much! Their prices are affordable too. So if you see something you like, I would say go for it, because you don't have to be rich. If you are in the area, just stop by for 10 min...you won't be disappointed! read more

A great place to shop for unique gifts. The best customer service. When I need a special gift I think of Shapiros first. Sandy Kleiman read more

This is the most beautiful shop. Features artists from all over the country. The staff really know their stuff, too, especially Mandy. She knows not only the artists but how they execute their work. read more

I love fine craft galleries. Craft galleries are usually full of items that are nominally useful (teapots, watches, dressers) but have been transformed into art through the vision of a talented artist. The things I like to buy - jewelry, furniture, housewares - become whimsical statements in the fine craft movement. Shapiro's pleases on all levels. The staff is friendly and inviting without being pushy. The product is interesting, beautiful, amazing. The shop is spacious and well laid out. The price ranges vary so I can buy a little or a lot. Oh, and it's on the other side of the country, so I won't go broke buying things. Whew! read more

If asked what's a must stop place to shop in downtown St. Petersburg, my recommendation would be Shapiro's on Beach Drive closely followed by a visit to any museum gift shop or Florida CraftArt. Shapiro's was started by a local clay artist and continues to be all in the family with its first gallery dating back to 1998. Its inventory of original pieces has been created by more than 300 American and Canadian artists and can only be described as ranging from whimsical to wonderful. A recent visit revealed a number of artists are finding creative new ways to incorporate recycled or repurposed materials into their crafts. #LoveThat. I have always been impressed by the knowledge that Shapiro's staff members have in terms of knowing something about the artist, an interesting tidbit about their work and what makes that pair of earrings, one-of-a-kind clock, sand (not snow) globes featuring treasures from the sea exceptional, unusual or interesting. Even when I am not in the market for a gift or something to enhance my life, it is always fascinating to take a look at what covers the walls, hangs from the ceilings, fills the shelves or is showcased in display cases here. There is a lot to see and a lot to admire in terms of the artists' work as well as what the owners have created. read more

Stumbled upon this little gem while visiting St. Petersburg. This lovely shop has everything and anything you would want. Great gifts for people who are hard to buy for. I got a lovely bracelet, a mustache comb for my boyfriend, a cute pill box, and a hand crafted tea infuser. Definitely stop in if you're looking for something unique! read more

This place is fantastic. Helpful staff. Amazing American made artwork. Wonderful gallery. With trends of online shopping I will continue to support this gallery. To anyone knocking the staff for profiling. That is insane. I am a black man with dreads and full beard. I am not what you'd call the typical beach drive patron. I was in Wednesday night and the young man and lovely lady never once "profiled" me. They assisted me and kept my hands free so I could keep shopping. Keep up the great work. read more

After a move from Bay Walk, Shapiro's helped spark the retail renaissance on Beach Drive. The store features truly one-of-a-kind art, jewelry, art, and other unique pieces that when given as a gift will truly make the recipient say "Wow." But, don't be afraid to get something to treat yourself, or add to the je ne sais quoi of your home décor. read more

Tons of metal sculptures, blown glass, & fiberglass sculptures. I love art work like this and have found a little gem here. It is a bit pricy, but where else are you really going to find some of these pieces. So it's well worth the money. It you haven't already stopped by here, you should do so soon. read more

Full of nice things from various artists. I wish I could afford to shop there though.

This place was really neat. I loved the metal sculptures the most. At the time, they also were running a special for Foursquare users -- 10% off these little metal kaleidoscopes. There was a lot of variety to the work in this shop, which I definitely appreciated. I didn't end up buying anything this trip, but it's probably a place I'd come back to. read more

Great selection of local, interesting art. One of those shops that is fun to go in and look around every single time you walk by, which is frequently because of their location along Beach Drive, one of the main drags of the St. Pete downtown area. read more

I love this place, beautifully organized & well kept art gallery. Always great customer service & knowledgeable with art & artists. Every time I go there I have to buy a piece, they have the most unique items! Hands down one of my favorite places to go to while in St. Pete read more

High-priced items like jewelry, purses, garden decor, knickknacks, stained glass pieces, drawings, wooden boxes and bowls and other decorative items. Expect to find the unusual and beautiful with a very high markup. A lot of pretty one-of-a-kind jewelry you may be able to find on etsy, but they've gotten wise to that and won't let you know their manufacturers. Nice selection of small Judaica (jewelry, mezuzahs) and things you don't normally find elsewhere. They encourage browsing, the owners and staff are nice and they welcome dogs. A lovely place to look at while enjoying your gelato from next door and a great place to find something pretty for a friend. Just know that you will be paying a lot for it. read more

Wonderful Store with the most beautiful jewelry and fine wood kitchen utensils, I could pet them all!

Unless you are caucasian, have a nice haircut and dress nicely, do not visit this store. I agree with the reviews I have read about this place with it's profiling, following certain people around and taking things to the register for you. Was treated like a second class citizen in this place due to my looks. It's a shame my wife ended up buying something here; I did not and will not, nor will I return. Matt was futile in his attempt to appease me, was fumbling through excuses and reasons. read more
